I think he is ok. In fact the arrival of his character has been a bit of a breath of fresh air. He is interacting well with the character of Connie, I hope he is around to stay.

I quite like him - its funny watching him ruffle up Connie's feathers. I liked Paul Bradley when he was in Eastenders, a.k.a. Nigel Bates - he was nothing compared to the bumbling idiot that was Barry Evans.

I'm slightly worried about how he likes eat food in hospital wards - considering Holby was suffering from MRSA at one point. LOL.

I think he's a really good character. He can stitch hearts while they're still beating! Even Connie was impressed.

He's only just arrived for goodnesss sake. I think its good to have a mix of characters, they cant all jump into bed with one another. I do find it annoying how many of them are related to each other. Ric, Jess, Lola. Chrissie, Trisha, Mark.

I love him, it makes a change from another cocky surgeon, he actually cares about the best interest of the patient

Elliot leaving?! He's an awesome character. It's great that we finally have a cheerful, outgoing, character after an endless string of miserable and arrogant people.

He's great, really refreshing for reasons that have already been said by everyone else.

I used to adore Holby City for the first 2 or 3 series but I think it went downhill after Anton Meyer left. But I love the character of Elliott - a much needed breath of life to the show.

I think he is ace, though he does remind me of someone and I can't think who.

I caught Anton Meyer on HC on UK Gold earlier, i really wish he would come back , i miss the way he used to say "walk with me" and then glide down the corridor, class!

Elliot is one of my favs already too, and he and Connie are like this comedy double act. I hope he stays for a long time

I like Elliott, but yeah, I do wonder how long it will be before Chrissie cracks on to him...

Yeah I really miss Meyer too only ever seen him on Holby and once on Bergerac.

My favourite Meyer line is back in Series Two - "Destination Unknown" - my favourite episode - one where kids steal Jordan's new BMW - he says to Jordan "don't give me this, self-pitying, working-class garbage - you don't know what poverty is, I do".

Also the scene with Julie in the car park (Christmas double episode one year) when Rosie (her daughter) was poorly and Meyer wasn't himself for some reason and she was pleading with him to operate. Fantastic scene.

I also thought Meyer to be amazingly elequent - with him it wasn't so much what he said but the way he said it, if you know what I mean.

I also really miss Julie, Nick, Victoria, Karen, Jasmine, Mike and Tash - but for me Meyer will always be the best ever Holby character, possibly followed by Julie, Ric and Owen.

I think he was afraid he had some kind of motor-neuron disease because his hands weren't working right.

He was worried the child might die. Bring back Meyer though. He was the man!

He's steadily growing on me....but for me it's Connie all the way!! I loved the first episode where Connie went into ric's office and did her impression of him!
He seems to "goody goody" and he always thinks he is right, whereas Connie is more optimistic. Can't say that I like him that much!
