What happened with the Vic?

I must have missed something. I've been over the episode write-ups on this site but can't find anything mentioned.

Did Ian loose the Vic? Do the Mitchells now have it? And if so, how come?

Chrissie had forged des signiture so it wasn't hers to sell
She told Sharon who then sold it to the mitchells
and ian didn't get anything and lost £5000

hope this helps

On the day that Chrissie planned to do a runner, she met Ian at the cafe , she was desperate for money and agreed on some silly price to let him have it. In return for as much as cash as he could give her there and then with the remainder to come later she signed the contract.

Later whn caught by the Police she spoke with Sharron at the Police Station and obviosuly admitted to her that the paers signing it all over to her weer forged.

Sharron told the Mitchells that her and Dennis did not want to keep the Vic and offered it for sale for a reasonable offer to the Mithcells which they agreed to . ian kicked up a stick but as Sharron said the papers Chrissie signed were not legal so he did not own anything.

Ah, thanks! I remember Sharon offering it to the Mitchells but couldn't figure out why it was hers to offer. Forgot about the forged signature a few months ago

Must admit the synopses on this site are a bit crap as there is no mention at all of ownership of the Vic.

Of course this all skips over the fact that half of it did actually belong to Chrissie, she only forged the signature to get Dens half.
So it wasn't all Sharon's to sell, only half, possibly, if Den had left it to her.

But everything gets glossed over for those bl**dy Mitchells...

Yea, that really annoyed me. EE are not always ones to pay attention to detail but I think they could of explained that.

The easiest way would have been for Chrissie to have signed her half of the Vic over to Sharon out of guilt (which is what I thought they were going to do, to be honest.)

So I was surprised when they couldn't even be bothered to slip that one line into the script.

Seems like lazy writing to me.

you do realise their synopsises are not "crap" they are from BBC press office. If they are "crap" blame BBC press office (http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice) not digitalspy. Sorry. Just had to get this off my chest.

Either way, I'm still reeling from the "Phil comes downstairs to find an unexpected visitor" teaser... Turned out it was Sam! What a massive letdown The amount of threads started on this forum because of it!!!!
