Hi,

I have just bought a Doro USB phone as I thought it looked very neat and the packaging boasted it workd with all softphones.

http://www.home-phones.co.uk/asp/pro...chFor=&PT_ID=1

The driver disk only contains skype drivers as it now appears that Doro have done a deal with Skype, and their support line was little help.

Does anybody know of a driver that will allow the phone to work with x-lite?

After kicking up a fuss with Doro I got this email:

212IPC only has a driver for Skype on Windows 2000 and XP.
We do not plan to develope any drivers for other soft phones today.
The use of the keypad on other soft phones is depending on that software's ability to map the buttons.

I can recommend to use Woize (www.woize.com) instead if the user doesn't like Skype.
That soft phone has an in-built support for 212IPC.
Unfortunately Woize only provides PSTN-numbers in Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands today, but are expected to add more countries (30) shortly. Another good thing is that Woize also provides an SIP-account, which means that any stand-alone SIP terminal can be used instead of the computer.

We have no developed driver supporting CounterPass products (formerly XTEN).

There is however a driver developed by Welltech which works quite OK with XTEN products and 212IPC.
We do NOT guarantee anything since it's not our software, but I tested it and it works.
It can be downloaded from:
