Jim Branning's teenage grandson is the latest new face to arrive in Walford early next year.

Bradley Branning, played by 18-year-old Charlie Clements, moves in with Jim and Dot after landing a job in the East End. He has never really known Jim but has always wanted to know more about his family roots.

Having never had a serious girlfriend, Bradley is on the lookout for someone with strength of character and a bit of a spark.

On the role, Clements said: "I'm very excited to be joining EastEnders and joining such a great family with Dot and Jim, it's wicked."

I heard dot or jim talk about the fact that he has a grandson yesterday in eastenders, just didn't really think they would add him to the cast. I should have though, they usually introduce people like that.
