With Steph’s words from the previous day looming heavily on Adam’s mind, he tells Turner that Steph is very distressed about what happened last year and asks him if he could bring himself to offer his forgiveness. Turner is furious at Adam’s interference and as he shouts he clutches his chest in pain. How will Steph react when she learns that her father has suffered a heart attack induced by Adam’s intervention?

Meanwhile, Diane returns from her four week cruise and is furious to find that her sister stayed at the pub the previous night. Val can’t resist pushing it and asks if she can stay for one more night as she’ll be in court tomorrow. Diane is adamant that she must leave and Val is forced to spend her last night of freedom on the factory floor.

That's what I love about Emmerdale - the comedy (with Val hiding behind the bar) suddenly switches to drama when Diane starts laying in.

All bow to Queen Val !!

Does anyone ever call Turner by his proper name, Alan?? It seems everyone from viewers to villagers refers to him as "Turner".

Lol trust Diane to have a right old cackle about Rodney and Kelly.

Is anyone going to tell them about Seth

Kelly has a DRESSING ROOM in Rodney's house???? WTF???

OMG Steph is scary

Am i the only one who wishes they'd get rid of Turner? He's such a sanctimonious old duffer.

Loved tonights episode... and Paul and Ivan flirting with each other!!
I'm just worried i'm going to get sick of the Steph storyline.. I can't figure out whether we're meant to feel sorry for her or not. The comedy is brilliant in Emmerdale... and it switches straight away to sheer drama in a single breath... love it. Val is hilarious. Just can't see the attraction with Ivan... Paul is delicious, however!!

Great episode tonight. Steph is genuinely scary. Lots of great scenes tonight and I absolutely love everything about Ivan. Great and extremely likeable character.

Brilliant episode AGAIN.

Everything was sooo good tonight. Steph was fabulous, great scenes at the end. Love the fact the Doc still doesn't know the full facts. Good performance from Lorraine I thought, and Alan's heart attack was convincing.

Felt extremely sorry for Val actually, but at the same time she's still so damn funny, what a fab character. All her lines are just classic.

Diane shouting, and then laughing at Rodney She has the best laugh ever, SO natural sounding. Great to have her back.

First signs of Ivan and Paul at last.

Andf then you have little things like Viv saying "it'll be Rodney next the way he's gonig" in that deadpan voice, LOL, or Nicola looking at Simon's offered arm in disgust

Loved it...not a bad thing (like Danny and Yawn) to break it up. Perfect drama/comedy mix.

Have to agree. It was a perfect episode full of great flowing scenes between characters. So happy Diane is back too. Love that laugh of hers. Ivan has the most adorable smile too. Agree with the Danny and Yawn stuff. Have never connected with either character.

Totally agree, fantastic episode. The only thing niggling me is the Doc not being too bright but maybe that's the point.

You mean in guessing what Steph is really like? I think he cares for her regardless, even though he knows she could be trouble and there's a lot more to it than she's letting on.

By the way, I LOVE Steph when she's dressed all in black and has those painted-on, long arching eyebrows. Makes her look more scary

The moment Paul walked in the pub, and you saw Ivan looking at him before making an excuse to go and talk to him .....obviously the first hint of what's to come. He obviously fancies him.

Though I thought it was a bit hard to believe - and obvious at the same time - that we get a hint also for the first time that Nicola fancies Ivan! She's barely been civil to him when I've watched, thus far!

She looks exactly like a real life version of the wicked stepmother character (I think it is) in Sleeping Beauty. exactly the same face, hair, expression and eyebrows!

And she's a complete fruitcake.

She says next week she made it up about being abused by her brother .... definitely loopy!

Yes, the evil queen, that's EXACTLY it And I wouldn't want it any other way.

I've asked this before and no one's answered - she tells Turner that Terrence RAPED her, then later admits she made that up. But does that mean the sexual abuse was true or not? Cause obviously rape could be considered a little different

I want it to be true, I don't want her to have made everything up

Poor old Tubby. I had to laugh when my sister, with a King-esque snear remarked:

"He's so fat it makes me sick!"

LOL.

Val was hilarious once again. Hiding behind the bar, he he!

Rodney and Kelly, jus plain disgusting. What is she thinking???

And Scary Steph, what can I say? Wow. And Carl, oops! I mean Dr Forsythe, should be very scared indeed!

Well, I'm going to anyway........He's soooo pretty!

Aaahhh, how cute was that? Ivan making an excuse to go and talk to him! And when he said "Can't find what you're looking for here, ay?" Aaahhh! Sooo sweet!!! (Good grief, I'm pathetic! ).

Oh boy, Toni is gonna feel such a fool!

I'm jealous of Paul myself...I want Ivan

Are you all gay guys, Fluffy, Andy, Drifter? I know Andy is, I was just wondering about the others..

I have a soft spot for Paul and I'm a straight girl. Is that wrong?
Drifter
16-11-2005
I am, yes, not sure about Fluffy. I thought you were a guy...

And no, it's not wrong at all

So lets clarify things.
Leslie fancies Rodney, who fancies Kelly, who fancies her step brother Scott , who is living with Dawn who fancies Danny a cousin of Toni who pretends to fancy Paddy but actually fancies Ivan who fancies Paul, the brother of Nicola who now also fancies Ivan rather than Simon the son of Leslie. That's why it's soap.

Victoria couldn't even be @rsed to greet Jack and Diane on their return.

So who is dafter, Steph or the Doc
cute chick
