I couldn't watch - I was surpised they producers left that in.

A very low point for Corrie and hope it is not an example of the quality of writing, acting and producing to come.

Corrie is on my red alert now due to that, the laxatives (no-one would be that stupid), the cardboard trainers and Frankie (who I like very much) letting Carol (who I also like very much) stay in her house.

I cringe every time Sarah tries to be seductive. It just isnt working, she end up looking like a 12 year old kid sister trying to chat up one of your 30 year old mates.

I thought she was just having a laugh myself, shes on a powertrip, although the script was ok its just that Sarah Lou is too out of character to be delivering lines like that. Now if it had been Karen or Tracy doing it we would of had a giggle as the comic side of those characters would of worked well with it.

I agree with the op Corrie is terrible at the moment.

I dont think Corrie is terrible at the moment at all. I do think that the same old thing is happening , as Eastenders is improving people have moved on to slating another soap.

But tI do agree the Sarah and Jason scenes have been cringeworthy.

I dont know what they thought they were doing with Sarah but she appeared to be acting like some second rate porn star, pushing out her boobs pouiting the lips, I for one was laughing.

I don't get her, she is a beautiful girl with a fantastic body, but I really don't find her sexy whatsoever at the moment. Can't put myfinger on what the problem is!

Exactly what I was going to say. Pretty as she is, I think Tina O'Brien is going to have to get to 40 before she even starts to look adult.

Her problem is that Gail has been giving her lessons.

she looks pathetic trying to act like a $2 tart in order to impress Jason, but you know what the majority of men are like, they fall for it. she doesnt care that shes hurting Violet, and im surprised at her change of character after all shes been through and what with Todd cheating on her too etc. It's like i read in a magazine the other week,

well, duh! a choice between the weatherfield bike or a decent sort of nice normal person like Violet. i just dont think hes ready to settle down or something.

I know what you mean Britgirl but the other way of looking at it is that it's BECAUSE she's been so badly hurt that she doesn't care any more. After the whole Todd/baby Billy saga she would have been traumatised and may be now she thinks - well nobody cared about hurting me so why should I care about other people's feelings. I'm not saying this is definitely the case, but just a different way of looking at it

Except she's had three blokes since Todd, so she can't have been THAT traumatised that it put her off getting involved again! Adam wasn't anything serious but she was living with Scooter! And of course now she's after Jason like some determined predator.

But as we're suddenly supposed to believe they find each other suddenly sexually irresistible after having sex after the wedding .... after knowing each other 4 years and being indifferent to each other most of that time .. not to mention having an exact replica one night stand a year ago that they both wanted to forget ...
It all stretches credability anyway, so it's hard to take any of it seriously!

Although I agree with most of this, Sarah never went out with Adam. In fact she made a point of fact to say to him, Look I don't want to go out with you didn't she.

Her one night stand was also I think an attempt, to get at Todd, so although temporarily forgotten I don't thinks she got over it. And Jason Dimshaw, well what brains he has aren't on show when he takes his hard hat off

When did Sarah go out with Adam? Adam came on to her in a very tentative way ages ago and she told him in no uncertain terms she wasn't interested. Well that's what I remember anyway.

I just wondered if sub-consciously (or indeed consciously) she feels that bedding Jason somehow hits back at Todd or scores a point of him in some way. I'm not saying I like what she's doing I'm just trying to understand it.

I agree with Matron, and I don't find any of it lacking credibility (except the lack of any chemistry between them - which I think is due to Sarah rather than Jason, as he has great chemistry with Violet). Sarah is desperate, there are no decent looking guys in the vicinity, so that is her motivation sorted out. Jason is a bloke with a limited number of braincells. So that's his motivation accounted for

Scooter was a total gimp, she never seemed that into him.

But I agree the scenes with J and Sarah make me shudder. Nearly as bad as Gail and Phil.

By the way re Carol staying in Frankie's house. I don't find it unbelievable because Frankie is always selfless regarding Jamie, and she is doing it for him. And of course Frankie also feels very guilty about taking both Jamie and Danny from her, so maybe this is a way of making amends.

She had sex with Jason last year to get back at Todd, that's all, which is why she was indifferent to Jason after that, and which is why some of us find this sudden change of mood to finding him sexually irresistable a complete joke.

It made me feel sick watching her trying to act all seductively and failing miserably. For some reason everytime she try's to act grown up, she still comes across as a 12 year old, very cringeworthy.

It made me feel sick watching her dab at Jason's cut finger with Gail's teatowel. That's not hygienic, is it?

Awful acting and awful script!

Sarah trying to be sexy and flirty was almost as bad as gail trying to be sexy and flirty! sarah and jason have no chemistry which seems odd as you'd think they'd have loads of chemistry coz of going out in real life. and gail and phil just make me want to throw up!

Definitely, it just doesn't work and is very embarassing to watch. If I were Jason I wouldn't look twice at Sarah as I'd much rather have Violet.
