Another txt form Vodafone.
OK. So yesterday i got this txt from sender 'vodafone' message center +447785013998
In 24 hours we will send you a free text with new settings for your mobile. Select Options, View & Save. If asked for a PIN use 927. Yo activate select YES. Sure enough this morning they arrived, and i saved them but didn't activate them. They appear to ne MMS and WAP. I phoned VOD yesterday and their indian call center didn't know anything about them.... What do you think the wording seemed strange with 'free text' to me..... |

Vodafone are pains the ass, they sent my boyfriend like 4 messages in one day - it is more than likely them!
I know that they have been re-sending alot of the wap/gprs settings because people are being incorrectly charged for accessing Vodafone Live! and this has meant the refunds department has been overly busy! |

It's possible i suppose. but i know that my settings were correct. and i don't even know how they knew what handset i was using....
I do check my e-mail a lot. so i guess they could think that that activity is me using WAP.... I wondered if it was some kind of scam to direct my wap through some premium rate thingy. I don't even know how they know what kind of handset i've got. |
