Val stands in court and says that she is one of life’s victims. She goes on to give a sob story of her life including being beaten by her father and bringing up Paul on her own. On top of trying to get the sympathy vote, she pulls out a wad of cash and says that she is going to return all of the stolen money. Diane is clearly disgusted with her sister, but will the judge be more sympathetic?

Elsewhere, Steph is nervous about visiting her father in hospital, but when she eventually does she is horrified to learn that Adam (Richard Shelton) has been questioning him about the past. Steph returns to the B&B and asks the doctor what he said to Turner to upset him. Adam insists that he was only trying to help but she tells him that his interference isn’t wanted.

Good episode, nowhere near as good as yesterday's, but still pretty decent.

Obviously Val was the highlight, actually laughed at so many things she said in court. "Exhibit A" *waves money* etc. Diane had some great lines too. Those two are dynamite together.

Enjoyed the Steph/Adam/Alan scenes.

And LOL at Lesley..."I'm asking you, cause of all your failed relationships and you know about public humiliation" Ha ha.

Val was hilarious as usual:

"Me son! I mean, take a look at him! He doesn't know which side to butter his toast!"

Lesley funny again today, but it is unrealistic that Rodney has so little self-respect as to be publicly PLEASED about having Kelly Windsor!

Lmao, I thought this was comic genius, the delivery was perfect, Val's definitely one of my fave characters.

Val is not in the least bit funny. She is deserved to go down so we didn't have to see her ugly mug on the TV for a few months. She steals, she lies and she's proud of it. How hilarious!

Thankfully, Val fans largely out-number her critics

I think it is split to be honest. I've seen a few people say they are not a fan of this middle aged woman flouncing around like some immature teeanger.
