Maybe we should try bribery...what kind of biscuits d'you reckon we should offer them? *Of course I will reserve a chocolate digestive to bribe Ian with (but that bribe has nothing to do with the dancing ) *

I actually have some from my most recent failed attempt at launching a clothing line. There's a choice of:
- pink satin bomber jackets with 'Anton's Angels sewn on the back (I understand why some won't want these) - top hats and tails embellished with red sequins (the first 50 get a free pair of fishnets and Christian Louboutin Red stilettos (he's a mate) - or purple lycra jumpsuits with insulation I nicked from next door's loft Can I have a sausage (as long as it's sans cow) and oooh what's the soup of the day? *hands notlongnow a placard* Welcome compadres *hugs* |

I'll have some soup, please, notlongnow, as long as it's not tomato (bleh)...
And I'll take one of those bomber jackets- I do love Anton, although in a strictly platonic, isn't-he-hilarious way. I love picketing. |

Thankyou *accepts placard and starts waving it madly*
Sausages are nearly ready - the soup is country veggies - dropped into James' restraunt on the way up and they gave me a big urn full. Said to say "Hi" and to remind us all to vote. Does any one have a mobile phone battery charger? My phone's just died... |

I'd a thought it'd be carrot and coriander after James' much-publicised recent world record!
I'll take some soup - mmmmm. |

NO ONE CAN LEAVE EVER EVER EVER! *picks up 'I love Anton' placard and 'OMG where did Will get those muscles!' banner, and marches furiously* |

ITT makes people love sequins and fake tan! It would be a national travesty to lose anyone from it! They should therefore stay and dance forever, to fulfill their role as sequins-and-fake-tan ambassadors!
I'm sure we could get sponsership deals from one of the major fake-tan brands...then we could get big, heated tents, a widescreen TV and a nice old lady to bring us tea and sandwiches on some sort of cart. |

Who likes my sequinned sleeping bag?
It took hours. I sewed them all by hand.

It's gorgeous, LinoleicAcid. Do you have any fingers left?
Chuck me one of those Ballroom Bill placards, ladies. If he goes out this week, I think a little part of me will die inside. I need to get more voting-credit for my mobile... I was wondering where you'd got to recently, Catherine! Good to see you back! I thought you had abandoned the SCD way... |

I've broken every fingernail, but it was worth it.
Are there any Anton placards left? I didn't have time to make one what with all the sewing... |

I'll adapt my placard to read 'Be my Ballroom Baby, Bill' pn the back!
Allybee, you summed it up, a bit of me will die if Bill goes! Bill and Karen deserve to stay - he is sooooooo lovely! and she is fantastic! She made me cry when she cried on ITT at her baby's message, and I was welling up on Saturday when she said how proud she was of Bill!I've been away on a training course, but had stayed away before because I felt the board had lost it's way a bit, but Boho lured me back with the offer of a ride in an ambulance! *hugs all round* ooo! Nearly forgot, i've brought some insulated mugs too!

Do we have mustard for the sausages? Here you go *hands Linoleic the mustard* It's going to be a cold night - maybe we should have a singalong to keep warm. Think Claudia said Will (loved those arms) was dancing to Pretty Woman - maybe we could start with that and show Arlene that you can tango to it. |

It doesn't scream 'TANGO' does it! But you are right.... I hate the song 'I'm still standing' by Elton John..yet Jill and Darrens jive to that last year was the best dance ever imo. Anyway..I am a bit chilly.....anyone fancy a quick nip out of my hipflask?

You know, no-one actually wants to leave: they're always saying, "Oh, it'd be horrible to go, I don't want to leave this week, it'd be so sad," so it's not like we'd have any trouble getting them on our side.
It's just the BBC folk we'd have to persuade, but I reckon we could swing it- after all we'd all watch, and I'm sure plenty of others would. So everyone's a winner then! It's just good common sense. *starts writing out her "You know it makes sense" placard* |
