Appeal to all let a women win this BB
Women are the greater viewers and voters of Big Brother so are a large cause of women always losing BB. This year proves no different with more men left and out of the two women one with any chance. I appeal to all forum users let Kate win.

Opinions stated as facts, gotta love 'em....
Please explain how Craig and Brian won only because they are male. There have simply not been enough series of BB to allow the natural probabilities of men and women to win equally to occur as yet. Just the same as if you threw a dice six times you wouldn't get the number 1,2,3,4,5,6 each occuring one time. But over time if you kept thowing it would average out. Men might win the first three series of BB and then the next 10 (assuming it runs that long) are all won by women. I don't believe that women only vote for men, do you? |

I'm sure more than a few women would be insulted by the idea that someone has to "let" them win the programme.

Unfortunately I do in the UK. Women make up over 60% of the viewing to TV and although this series has done better for men they are the voting mass. They are the main contributor for voting out their own sex.

BB in other countries have had female winners but the theory of enough passing and the natural balance is restored is rubbish men invariably win.
Last 2 BB Men X 2 Last 2 Survivors Men X 1, Women X 1 Kate will win then no worries. |

I have read the figure is even larger than that - 85% of votes are cast by females - I don't believe the theories of natural probability can be appied to this. It's not as though voting is a random process where we ring a number and our vote randomly chooses a HM to evict - as in the analogy of throwing a die. We have a choice to make, and that choice is made through a series of decisions based on whatever factors someone feels are relevant. With 85% of the votes cast by members of the same sex - there are bound to be deciding factors which are common to the same sex group.

I think a woman could win, but doubt it would be an even split over the years.
This year as last year the final 6 are 4 men 2 women |

They're not really what I would call the best of anything. They're just the most extreme personalities from the other exhibitionists that applied. Maybe we should say "the best of a bad lot"? ![]() I would vote for Jade to win, because I don't vote for the nicest, the funniest, the worthiest, as none of them were originally picked for possessing these traits in abundance. I'd pick Jade because of the irreversible and brutal way Dominic Mohan has treated her, among others in the media. I'm more keen to see the public decide rather than than producers and editors, even if it is a silly dream to have. |

The way he has treated her has been entirely deplorable, I can't understand how he gets away with it.Maybe if Jade won the money (though I doubt she will), and she got some good advice, that she would LISTEN to and ACT on, could turn her life around. LK - Wouldn't mind Jade winning just to see the look on the other housemates faces.

My point was NOT that the sex of the winners of BB WILL conform to probability. But that it is not yet possible to state that simply because the first two series have been won by men that that is proof that BB is biased towards men winning because of the predominance of female voters.
The voting may well be skewed, but I would be interested to know whether the women on here really are drawn to supporting the male hosuemates simply because they are male. Are you? |

Not at all I am just surprised that women could be voting against there own sex to a far greater degree than men and do not understand why. It is very aggressive to say I have a dismal view of women I am just airing an opinion which seems to be proven. Is it that women are more objective I do not think so. Is that women are more critical of other women - possibly.

Dont know about anyone else but when the evictions come I just vote for the HM who I like the most regardless of their sex. And the opinion that PJ will probably go instead of Kate this week goes to show that the population will share that opinion.

Seems to me by posting this thread you are asking people to vote for a sex rather than an individual. |
