I have a few problems with Jane and Ian...

1. Ian had 2/3 children and didn't want another one with Laura, yet now he has another child, he's ok with having yet another with Jane?

2. We never see Bobby! He must be out of a pram now, a walking toddler surely. Yet we don't see Jane or Ian with him, he always seems to be tucked upstairs or at a Nursery.

3. We get a new Lucy and Peter, yet now there barely used as much as the originals. At the start they had a lot to do, but in the past few months that quiz on Tuesday was pretty much it.

Now here's the main problem...

4. Jane and Ian were trying for a baby, obviously they needed assistance due to Ians operation. However, why have we not heard anything since Naomis premiere episode?? It just seemed to be a reason for Naomi to have a first bad impression with an established character.

I love Eastenders, I've always been a fan - but it's bugging me, not so much as a referance has been given.

If I remember I think Jane decided that she didn't need to rush into having a baby because she was already being a mum to ians kid's and she loved them and she would wait til the time was right.

I still would have thought she'd want her own kids though.

I think Jane decided she was being unfair in putting pressure on Ian to have the operation, and said she was happy with the family they've already got.

not seeing Bobby isnt unusual - Martin was "playing upstairs" for years....!

Perhaps she found out about Ian taking a 'sample' in the car and got put off.

I get the impression that Jane is 'seeing' the real Ian, or has been since Phil arrived back in the square.

Perhaps she is having second thoughts?

I think the last we heard was that she had decided she already has a family with Ian and that was what more important at that present time, to add more pressure of having another baby wouldn't have worked, especially as Lucy was just getting used to having her in their lives and she realised that. Although I do recall her saying that she would definitely want children of her own in the future and Ian was totally supportive of that.
I'm hoping that they stick together and one day it happens, but for now they have some good stuff going on.
