Over rated EastEnders star Shane Richie has gave comments on his fellow EastEnders pals by saying what he thinks at his leaving do. Shane said the reason he quit was because of Kathleen Hutichson - the woman responsible for bumping off Dirty Den.

I think he is a over rated 'Star' who thinks EastEnders is too big for him. He even wanted to leave and not to have Alfie killed off... Let's hope somehow he manages to get into that coffin.. and that the mystery EastEnders' star killed off is him.

Shane Ritchie owes his current popularity to EE's. He was a cheesy embarrasment before he won the role of Alfie. Do these actors never learn? I predict he will be doing panto in Skegness in a few years from now. Let's face it, he can't act. Alfie is just Shane. Arrogant git.

He'll find like many actors before him, that no one person is irreplaceable. It sounds to me that Ritchie is biting the hand that feeds him. He'll learn his error when he's back doing caberet on Blackpool pier to quater full theatres.

People only know him because of 'Alfie' in EastEnders - I will by no means be interested or care what he does once he has gone for good. Are we supposed to feel sorry for a man who slags the show he works for off..?

Yeh, I've always kind of thought Shane Richie let the awards and all the hype around him go to his head. A few weeks ago at the NTA's, I remember he looked shocked and gutted at not winning the Best Actor Award to Christopher Eccleston. Shane has to learn that you're never bigger than the show you're on.

But wasn't the speech at his leaving party meant to be humourous? None of us we're there to see how he said what he said so we can't really comment on that. As for the rumour that he quit because he didn't like Kathleen Hutchison - well who wouldn't? She did, after all, believe what the show needed was more gangsters!!
