We have SCD, in between we have 'strictly dance fever' (which I also love,) with amateur dancers.

What about a series where we mix the two?

It struck me tonight, whilst I was dancing around the room to 'September' by Earth, Wind and Fire which my OH had brought and downloaded for me on my new iPod(to see how guilty I feel..see the Anton thread) that I would love to be taught like the celebs are on SCD. I would love to learn to dance like them.

But they get to do it as they are celebs.

What about a show where it is the professional dancers dancing with complete planks like me, when it comes to dancing!

I'd be up for it..I'd love it! I might even get to lose weight too!

I love to dance...I really do....I do have a bit of rhythm I have been told. But when it comes to dancing in a couple...I am a mare!

When I go to parties or weddings and some guy grabs me to dance a jive or something...I am so awful, they normally send me spinning back into the crowd!

I can only dance on my own.

What do you guys all think (oh and BTW...I am grabbing Anton if this show ever makes the air. )

After seeing Anton tonight, I was thinking more of Strictly Disco Dancing where a ballroom prof and a celeb learn disco dancing

Might not be enough different dances to make a whole series but it would work as a two or three week special

No no..no more celebs....they have their show. I want to learn how to dance!

I had that idea also, but the only problem would be how to choose the people, I would LOVE to go on it though if it ever came to be!

I just got OH to download (on the new iPod) the great song that Anton and Patsy danced to the other week (una musica brutal) which was fab...and I have been dancing aroudn the lounge to it...imagining Anton as my partner!

You might get Anton outright anyway. If he ever reads any of my comments on here, I have a feeling he may be too scared to meet me!

I think he'd be amused, if a little scared. I would volunteer to go along as your chaperone when you met him to make sure you behaved yourself

Actually, it dawned on me that you or Startwirler could be Anton himself, trying to create the impression that there were lots of beautiful women out there lusting after him

I love the idea and would gladly bag Anton as my partner, if not Matthew Cutler as I think he's gorgeous.
