A poll from a Strictly come dancing site I regularly go on is running a poll on who fans want to win. The current results are:

James and Camilla = 26.7%
Will and Hanna = 25.7%
Darren and Lilia = 16.3%
Zoe and Ian = 8.9%
Colin and Erin = 8.4%
Patsy and Anton = 7.4%
Bill and Karen = 6.4%

Yay! Go James and Camilla, although the voting numbers on that site are not that high.

I think Will will go this week & hope so too, quite good, but prefer the others!

Will seems to be the one with the lowest fan base, but the judges may save him. Of the others, the only ones who appear to be vulnerable are, sob, Patsy and Anton. Hopefully Anton's hip thrusting display last night will have generated enough passion to motivate people to pick up the phones and vote for him if not Patsy.

The unexpected happens in these shows - I don't know if you can say it on these boards, but look what happened on the X Factor last week. I'm just going to do what I can to keep my favourites in.

I think it's between Will and Bill but it all depends on how Will dances. If he performs well, then I think he'll be marked highly enough to protect him against his lack of fanbase. After that I think Bill is in most danger, and he could also suffer a 'foot backlash' - people not voting for him because they don't want him to create any more problems with the foot. So, in summation of all that rambling, I think Bill is bottom two with possibly Will, and if he does well then I would hazzard a guess that it's between Patsy and James - with Bill still going.

I disagree - I think the foot will get Bill a lot of sympathy and people will vote for him purely because of his courage in the face of adversity. If it hadn't been for the foot, then I wouldn't be so worried about Patsy and Anton.

Patsy and Anton to go based on the training clips we've seen.
Though a shock exit's possible. So vote Colin and Erin if you don't want to lose the best dancer of 3 series!

The thing is, we know Will has a low fanbase as he's been in the bottom two virtually everytime he's scored low, but we have no idea about what's going on with the others. None of the remaining couples have been in the bottom two yet so we have no idea about their comparative fanbase.

There's no point in looking at opinion on these forums cos we're a tiny minority of the people who watch SCD. I mean, virtually nobody on the forums would have predicted what happened in X-Factor last week.

Probably the most accurate polls are the ones on sites which are nothing to do with the show because there you've just got average joe public opinion. The only impartial one I could find had Bill, James, Will and Colin as the least popular - which really doesn't match at all what is being said on here.

I think anyone who scores above Will tonight is relatively safe, after that I'm not going to even try to make a prediction because we have no real idea of popularity. And it really does depend on how well they dance.

Zoe's getting above herself and already thinks she's going to win and for that reason, I want a male to win - Darren, preferably. Patsy's Quickstep training VT looked absolutely horrendous. She was hanging on to Anton for dear life, her posture was awful - she completely lacked control. I've absolutely loved her until she started shooting that mouth off over the last few weeks. Her Tango was sensational - if she could get back to that standard, she'll win me over again, but if she's bad tonight, then she deserves to go. Sorry to the lovely Du Beke...

It's going to be like this every week - it's totally dependent on what the judges say. More than ever, it has become a dance contest. The roughly equal fan bases are cancelling each other out.

Anyone in the bottom 3 is at risk of leaving tonight.
So this thread becomes a 'who is likely to dance the worst/be scored the lowest'.

Patsy & Anton are doing ballroom which is in their favour, but they will be compared to Zoe and Ian.

The jives could toss up anything. Darren's fan base hasn't been tested yet. And we don't know about James either. If Darren's jive is great, James will be in trouble by comparison - at least they are BOTH big chunky guys so it's a more level playing field.

Bill is tricky, his rumba looked ok, but as Bill said, can we believe him doing the sexiest dance of them all with Karen (I love Bill but to me he's more cute - in a Just William schoolboy way - than sexy). Karen is well-liked and he will be riding high on Children In Need last night and his ankle, which may influence both the judges scoring and our voting. However, he is now widely acknowledged as the least proficient dancer left in the competition and the judges may want him out because of this. There is also no point of comparison as he is the only one rumba-ing.

Will is a wild-card and unpredictable. I felt they would be safe this week watching their tango as it must be his best dance - his posture and hold are perfectly suited to it - but then I heard the music (Pretty Woman!) A lot of criticisms of the tango's a few weeks ago were about the 'acting' part of it and comments like 'you look like a murderer' and 'where was the passion' might come out and he could lose marks, even if it is technically perfect. What was Hanna thinking? (well she did leave out a fleckerel last week)

Colin is a favourite with the judges generally and they know he has the most innate dancing ability and therefore may forgive a mediocre performance. Colin seems very confident about this one, so his Foxtrot is unlikely to be a disaster. I imagine he's safer to be near the top of the scoreboard than the other blokes. And the foxtrot doesn't require him to be fierce or passionate - just an even expression and he'll be fine. He will inevitably look fantastic in the salsa too which wil help him.

It could be anyone. Anyone with an off-day and they're in the bottom three of the scoreboard. Zoe is almost a dead-cert to stay as their quickstep looked ace. The other are less favourable just because I have no idea how they'll compare to each other. It's anyone's guess really. I'm a bit worried but also very excited - it's much better to not have a foregone conclusion

Sorry for the long post

I hope Patsy and James are the bottom two - don't really mind which of them go - they both annoy me

That has to be one of the worst song choices in all three series. What were they thinking.

I think Will will go. Will probably be up against Bill but will leave. He has been in the bottom 3 three times now so I think his time will be up.

I think it will be between Will and Bill for the bottom two, then again Colin is getting a bit full of himself these days. James could also be one of the bottom two as Nov/Dec is his buisiest time of the year.

Oh and by the way 'Pretty Woman' is the worst song for the Tango. I feel it should have been something more traditional.

Will and Bill. In my opinion. They'll be the ones in the bottom two.

I'd like to see Will go, as I think that he's the least charismatic of the two, and Bill is just marvellous!

Perhaps 'Pretty Woman' will work against him.

At least that's what I'm hoping.

So long as Patsy and Anton stay in, I don't mind.

Although I think that Colin might be going. He doesn't seem to attract the same sort of obsessive fanbase as the others...

Not that obsessive fanbases are my sort of thing or anything... *ahem*

I can't help feeling the judges would be kinda if they were dancing to something traditional.

I know what ya mean, some big thumping, dramatic, romantic number would have helped them, but what do I know...

Arlene is already set to mark them down after seeing her reaction to their music choice last night!

He really has to pull it out of the bag poor lad!

I think that if Will ends up being in the bottom two again, he's leaving. Four times being in the bottom two without leaving would be too lucky.

However, it's really hard to predict who's going to be in the bottom two because, as everyone has pointed out, the standard this series is extremely high.

Out of all of them left, Bill is probably the celebrity with the least ability, but he seems pretty popular, at least as a person if not as a dancer. Also there's a lot of people who like Karen. Add to that the 'sympathy votes' that he's bound to get (despite his insistance that he doesn't want them) and it seems unlikely that he'll leave.
Or maybe that's just my wishful thinking

I don't want Colin to leave because I think he stands a great chance at winning, but he seems to have been getting the least publicity out of all the celebrities this week and he could suffer from that.

It's probably safe to say that Zoe's going nowhere and I don't think James or Darren will either (unless their jives are atrocious and are marked really lowly by the judges).

I'm not sure about Patsy and Anton. There seems to be more of a fan base for Anton than for Patsy (at least from these forums there does!), whereas some of the couples seem to have a fanbase for both the celebrity and the dancer.

All I think that adds up to is I don't have a clue who's going! It really will be a shock to me, whoever goes.
I'm crossing my fingers for Bill to stay, though

Judging on what I have seen (not what I want) I think it may be Will, James or Bill.

I don't want anyone to go..I really don't.

I think it may be a bloke as the two girls left have big fanbases (EE fans vote Patsy, music fans, etc..vote Zoe) plus their partners are hugely popular too.

Will may go in the fact that people don't really know him or his partner...however, if they were to pull out a foxtrot style dance (which they could well do with the tango) they may be so high up the leader board that they will be safe.

I just am dreading whoever goes...whether it is one I like better or not.

It's so odd as in other reality shows..I am practically cheering someones name to go....and even on some SCD's at this point, I have been (Chris Parker anyone?) but this is the first time ever that I now like them all, even up to last week.

It could be a shock...Denise was in the bottom two alot last year.....maybe one we don't expect to go will?

Claudia said last night that Darren was having a big problem with the jive. It could be him.
