hiya bees I dont have any faves in the show I tune in each week and watch and then just pick who I like on the night

I really like to see those who really try so loved Dennis his performances are good for business tells the ordinary guy he can do i too

but definitely the three front runners are Darren/Zoe/Colin

Darren Gough - amazes me how well he is doing and loving his growing liking of dancing he is brave goes all out for it and his Jive last night was great for me someone learning from scratch giving a good performance with kicks and flicks too - well done thought he was marked low

Colin being a teacher of competitors (though not Ball/Latin my brother and sister do that) I am used to being around people who strive for a win he has a competitive nature and doesnt always gain him fans but his dancing is good and that foxtrot was marked a bit low would have given him an odd 9

Zoe yes she dances well though her samba last week was forced and not the best one on the show her ballroom is good but they DO hve body contact problem which really showed last night ad its easier for female celeb to dance ballroom than a male one would have marked her all 8's must state though I love Ian Waite nice guy and good solid professional

Heh - I'm still having fun (and any ill feeling will have evaporated soon), but the judges are beginning to annoy me.

I don't hate Zoe at all (re Bohochick - and I'm not really bothered about who wins tbh; I'm more concerned about who gets to the final), but it does bug me that she is being slightly overmarked (i.e. by one or two points) whereas other couples are being slightly undermarked (I thought Will & Hanna deserved at least a 7 from everyone). Perhaps the judges are under pressure to create a full ranking instead of 2 or 3 couples (or even two sets of 2 or 3 couples) with the same marks or something.

I have had a read through now and it is all a bit low here today. This isn't the BB forum..this is fluffly pink cloudy SCD forum so I am going to wave my magic fairy dust around the forum and make a wish.

Thanks Boho for lightening things up. Think perhaps tho I may stay out of this forum for the rest of the series far too depressing for me and am tired of all the negativity.

I'm feeling a bit fluffier now, someone did have to go, damm that elephant for wandering off to get some more custard at just the wrong moment, I just felt the judges were really eractic this week *bites tongue to prevent a 'how did Patsy score higher then Will' rant*

We'll get a chance to say goodbye to the lovely Will, Hannah and his Camp Monster on Monday And hope that Hannah has some fashion tips before next series, because much as I loved her - that dress was seriously horrible

I'm still having a good time on here - I love reading everyone's opinions. It's great that we don't all agree because it would make for some really bad discussion if we did.

It's hard to point out the good parts of the show without mentioning the bad points (such as the judge's under/over marking) because then it'd be like - to quote (well, paraphrase) my darling Claudia - "there's an elephant in the room that everybody's ignoring."

I love ALL aspects of SCD and I love being able to come on here and see what everybody has said about it. I enjoy this bit almost as much as I love the show itself, because it allows me to relive it all for a bit longer

I know what you maen as I did that a few weeks ago when a few posters were bashing Dennis and then Patsy (this week it seems to be Zoe) as like I said then, if I want fights and stuff, I go to the X factor forums or the BB ones. The thing with this show is most of us do wish all the couples well, so we don't have too much of the stuff that goes on on other forums. This one has always been a nice forum to go on with lots of love and cheer. And long may that continue.....and I hope it is only the Saturday night shows that get to us all and make us post erratically as we are all so passionate about the dancers!

But just have a day or two off, not forever, and then come back on as I need you to help me picket the studios for next week....as we must all have been ill last night, and Will left!

If it's Anton...we have to make sure he doesn't leave!

*hugs*

I don't think it's that bad around here. It's a competition, one that many of us have gotten very passionate about, I think it's natural to feel the heat of injustice for our favourites against their competition.

For the most part, I think everyone on here has tried really hard to be objective and when being subjective they've clearly (and cheekily!) stated who their favourites are.

The competition is closer now, the people who were clearly not going to make it through (on popularity or talent) have been skimmed off and now the dancers who do have a larger following and more talent are being eliminated. This is bound to upset their fans.

I think everyone on here is doing a great job of articulating their feelings. At this stage all of the contestants are talented and popular and I think we're lucky to be fans of a show that doesn't resort to humiliation (not purposely anyway!) of celebrities and petty sniping (or water throwing stunts) between the judges. Looking at some of the other forums on here I think the nature of hte shows tends to be reflected in the nature of the posts made. X Factor can get incredibly heated and bitchy as can BB (as a few people have mentioned).

I think we're lucky to have such a wide range of experienced and not experienced dancers and enthusiasts. Let's face it, over the next few weeks we're all going to see someone we have a soft spot for being eliminated (even if not our absolute favourites).

As for last night's show, I would guess some fans would have had a pretty bloody big shock to see Anton and Patsy in the bottom two and will be compensating for it like crazy this week! There's nothing anyone can do about last night's result but Anton and Patsy fans CAN affect next week's results by voting this week and I'm sure they will!

I think i've waffled on too long here! sorry to those of you still awake

Don't go forever! I need someone else to glare at the BBC on no-ITT-days with me! I think emotions tend to run high on a Saturday night/Sunday, as someone out there wll have lost their favourites. I have to say that, overall, this has been one of the nicest forums I've ever been in- 99% of the time everyone's here for one another and getting on great. But any group can have an off-day.

Well put. I was thinking the other day how different this forum is to the BB one. It's great to have a forum where the majority of FMs get on and don't resort to insults if someone doesn't like their personal favourite. Hopefully in a couple of days your fairy dust will have reached all parts of the forum and everyone will be happy again.

That was a great post and I do agree.

I guess we just have to make sure it doesn't turn into the other forums...so every so often we have to reel ourselves in!

See..feel the magic dust working?

Oh the wonder that is editing. Patsy doesn't get on with Anton. Anton storming off (maybe he was in a rush for the loo) Colin 'I'm going for gold, going for a 10' repeated 4 or 5 times.
The BBC really know how to wind the fans up don't they

Sorry I was reading a post on another page when I wrote this. It seems a bit out of place now. x

They keep showing Anton storming off.
Only once do they show Anton talking to Patsy afterwards saying that he thought it was alright...

The power of editing.

They should simply track each couple from a single camera mounted above the judges.
Agree with this. It's very annoying sometimes, getting a close up of someone's left shoulder when what you want to see is their entire body!

Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of it last night. Went out for dinner and the video recorder had a hissy fit and all I got was soundtrack and and black screen..

Completely agree - I think SCD are trying to make the show too dramatic instead of concentrating on the dancing - don't like the clips of whats to come - it usually means there is no time at the end and poor brucie gets all flustered!!
