At times it looks as if a trigger happy 5 year old is in control of the camera angles console. It makes it impossible for TV viewers to properly assess each performance. They should simply track each couple from a single camera mounted above the judges. |

Firstly, I'm sure Anton has enough babies in him to go round
Secondly, as someone who knows nothing about dance but just finds Anton incredibly sexy, here's my view of the performances: James and Camilla: Looked good even if not technically brilliant Zoe and Ian: Not as good as it was hyped up to be, but fine Will and Hanna: Music very untangoish - even though the lyrics are, Hanna's dress was unforgivably awful. Were the costume dept drunk at the time? It didn't do a lot for me - and this boot camp stuff and real man stuff put me completely off. For that alone they deserve to go. A huge tactical blunder. Patsy and Anton: He, brilliant (but then I am biased and won[t hear a word against him), she, ok. They got away lightly with the Judge's comments. Bill and Karen: Pretty dire but I like them and her outfit was fab. Darren and Lilia: I think they were the best of the lot tonight - and I'm taking her outfit to the Strictly Island (see Startwirler's other thread) Colin and Erin: Ok, but nothing spectacular in my view. I'm glad Will went as he did nothing for me but I know how many times I voted for Patsy and Anton and it's worrying that that still got them in the bottom two. |

My oh my,
Emotions are running high in here tonight! I love that we all get so involved in the show. I feel like I know all the dancers and celebs now. Silly, isn't it? It's like being let in to a little window of sparkly life that we'd never see otherwise.I enjoy reading all the comments. Some have me shouting at the screen and imagining really cutting comebacks..and others have me nodding like Churchill on speed. But isn't that part of the fun of it? Don't take it too seriously though.... we're not all meant to agree. It'd be boring if we did. Becks p.s. Still worried about Arlene being thoroughly deranged. The sight of her shouting, finger waggling, curls bobbing in fury may haunt my dreams!

fair enough. (One of the reasons I love the Reality forum and shows like SCD is that we all get on). There's nothing like the vicious infighting found on the BB boards, for example. So {{hugz}} your apology means a lot. All friends now? And back to admiring all the gorgeous men. Do you realise there's absoluetly no male totty on I'm A Sleb? SCD has so many!! so I'll keep watching. I'm currently recording onto my 4th DVD, a tad obsessive dont you think? Ah well, who wouldn't want to record so many lovely men.

![]() Not sure where I read it but somone said Arlene must hate Karen however they have worked together choreographing dances so you would think they were friends. Actually...thinking about it...Karen probably showed Arlene up...so the knives are out... 100% agree Cat, Karens outfit was certainly a stunner, best of the night! |

My oh My oh My......
Goodness its all heated and hot and bothered on here tonight, the last two weeks I have loved the show and then come on to this thread and found everyone being really down and negative (not all but some). Please can we have some smiles and fun and positivity, its a wonderful show which lights up my and Im sure the lives of thousands of others on Saturday nights. I know nothing about dancing its pure entertainment for me and I love the people doing it.
I for one think Zoe and Ian's 10 was very well deserved and they danced beautifully, Anton and Patsy were a lot better and Bill was sweet as always. My one gripe is that Arlene is driving me mad, no doubt she knows what she's talking about but she's so rude, which really impedes my enjoyment. She has a right to her opinion but not to go on and on and shout over other people and demand to be heard. She should take a few pointers from Craig he's learned how to behave at last!! Was anyone else shouting at the screen at the end of the results? I was on the edge of my seat shouting let it be will and Hanna, let it be will and hanna, dont take Anton away. (no disrespect to the other two) just couldnt cope if Anton went!!!!! And oh my more Anton chest *thud* *thud* *thud* the group salsa was wonderful. So guys please lighten up, its a wonderful show, so enjoy the entertainment of it and the people providing it. Ok off soap box and hope I havent offended anyone, not my intention at all and I apologise if I have. |

Zoe & Ian are good an everything, but aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh that 10 annoyed me. They didn't desewrve it!
I love James, still!!!! I agree though, he was the worst tonight. Just weren't his dances. I'd like Darren & Lilia to win, with Colin & Erin and....... Someone else! in the final. A lad has to win! |

But I love your rants about petulant men (and I love petulant men but that's another story...) There should have been some more material for your next rant in tonights show....I think you know what I mean LOL!We can bitch or prostrate ourselves in the hope that our fav will notice us. Banter about any of the contestants/ judges etc is great. But hopefully we dont bitch about each other. After all, we're all hooked on SCD and share that bond, so lets keep tearing the Celebs to pieces instead of knocks about FMs.PAX?

Lilia's Dress
[quote=libby3107]
Darren and Lilia: I think they were the best of the lot tonight - and I'm taking her outfit to the Strictly Island (see Startwirler's other thread) Loved her dress too, but did anyone else think it looked like a bunch of Bananas???

I thought Darren was fantastic too!
He gave so much energy and life to the dance. His rhythm was spot on and he moved about really well. I think he may have been concentrating too hard on the lags and let the arms go just a teeny bit... but what does it matter. He is a performer and no doubt about it. I just adore Lilia too.. she's fantastic! Becks |

Darren's motivation and perseverance despite his initial reservations are an inspiration! |

I did feel for James tonight as that dance really did nothing for him i don't know if it was the choreography or something else (i don't know what though). He can dance a lot better. Maybe next week he will be able to prove himself.
I love Colin and Erin and didn't really think the scores made sense as the judges raved about how good it was. Bill and Karen ummmm not really impressed he was stamping his bad food like a mad man on CIN on friday but didn't really move around the dance floor alot. It seemed to be mostly Karen and Bill doing a few steps. Maybe this was to protect his foot as I do realise that they would not of known on monday, when they start training, how his foot would be on saturday. |

Strange, I thought Lilia's dress looked like a load of little flames & that she looked quite gorgeous in it.
Just not got the artistic mind I guess? |

How did last night's result happen?
It is beyond my understanding how Patsy and Anton - with 31 points from the judges - were beaten by Bill, who had 17. I'm not even going to try to do the maths, but that means that lovely Anton is severely lacking in votes! And this was the week that I forgot to vote entirely, because I was having dinner. ![]() Did this happen to everyone else? The mad texters who wanted to see Anton in his John Travolta marvellousness forgot? Or is this insane, core fanbase getting a little smaller? I was in shock. Real shock. It was too close for comfort! I know that Patsy is not the best dancer by any means, but I don't think that the dresses do her any favours. Have you noticed that Zoe's dresses are always the floatiest, making her seem as if she's walking on air, whereas Patsy's are always quite static. The impression of being light, floaty and angelic can't really be conveyed in peacock blue, tight, and sequinned outfits as well as it can with pastel chiffon. I think that there's something wrong there. Maybe the votes were fixed - someone at BBC studios wants Patsy out! Or maybe I'm overreacting...

Base on the way the judges and the public are voting, the final will have Zoe, Bill and Patsy in them. Does everyone else agree?
PS Even Craig at his worst never behave the way Arlene seems to be behaving in the past couple of weeks. (And I used to like her!) |

The marking is strange sometimes. Particularly from Craig.
I thought Will Thorpe was OK and I really think Bill wants to come outof it now. Talking of Will - wasn't Will Young great? Makes a change to have a performance like that in the show. |
