Surprise, surprise we've had a 10 awarded for a good, but not perect performance. Was it deserved? Am I expecting too much? After all, they are only amateurs and it would be unrealistic to expect perfection so who do you think deserves a 10 based on the judges criteria?

Over the weeks I think, Colin, Darren and Patsy have put in excellent performances. Who else do you think?

I didn't think Zoe deserved a 10. Same as Denise didn't in last years xmas special. I think Bruno has a it of a thing for Ian. He gets a bit carried away.

Not sure about a 10, but I thought Colin was best last night. I find it bizarre that he didn't even get a 9.

zoe and ian admitted it wasnt perfect but bruno was giving the 10 for the way it looked, and to be perfectly honest they looked head and shoulders above everyone else

I would give Hanna a 10, but for reasons that have nothing to do with dancing.

No way did they deserve a 10!! The thing is now, judges want them to win... which is not fair at all...

Difficult to address this one, as Buno freely admits that he isn't looking at the technical aspects of the dance; being more interested in the overall impression he gets from the performance. Perhaps he was just so taken by the sight of two quite tall people moving around the floor together?

My argument with the judges is that they are very inconsistent in the way they are scoring the dances; i.e. there have been times when they have told a couple that they have given the best performance of the night & then marked them lower than another.

Additionally, on previous occaisions, when the couples have been alternating between two dances, there has been a significant difference between the marks awarded for the best performance of each dance; despite the judges comments being, almost, mirrored for each couple.

I do realise that, as with anything where people are being asked to vote on their opinions, the marks awarded are subjective, but there are times when you are left gobsmacked by the difference between what the judges say & how they mark.

I won't knock any of the competitors as I have nothing admiration for what they have achieved; far better than I could ever manage, it's just the judges; & some of Brucie's remarks (eg. "You're my favourites.") that are beginning to annoy me.

I agree, I don't think anyone's given a performance this series that's close enough to perfection to merit a 10. Jill and Darren's jive last year has been the only one to deserve that score, in my opinion. Not even both times either: it was better the first time they did it, although they got perfect scores the second time.

For me, every element of the dance has to be really special to merit the top score. Bruno knew perfectly well that the routine wasn't perfect but he gave them a 10 anyway. It's a shame for Zoe and Ian, because look at the backlash on here. They did really well, and fully deserved 9s in my opinion, but because Bruno gave them a 10 despite their mistakes, there'll be another week of people talking about them being overmarked. Bruno needs to learn that people often react in the opposite way to the judge's opinions - if they think that a celeb is being unfairly criticised, they're more likely to vote for them, and the opposite holds true also. Zoe and Ian may be his favourites, but he could be doing them more harm than good by overdoing it with his praise and marks. I'm not saying he shouldn't be honest, I just think he should be a bit more careful.

I totally agree. I think that Zoe and Ians performance was not even up to the knees of Jill and Darren last year. I hated Denise and Ian last year as she seemed very full of herself as does Zoe this year. I think that Bruno has a thing for Ian and his partners and that he should only be meritng perfection with a 10. And Zoe and Ians quickstep wasnt perfect!!!!!!

ps - i think Bruno fancies Zoe.
