December 3rd, ITV1

5:00pm ITV News; Sports Results; Weather
5:15pm Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
8:00pm The X Factor
9:00pm I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
10:30pm The X Factor Results
11:00pm ITV News

That's... interesting. So we have Harry Potter, and results at 10.30pm.

Just thought I'd post this.

But they need to separate the performance show and the results show, so that would be the only way to get round it. Ratings failure anyone?

i keep forgetting im a celeb is starting today! i reckon it will take a lot of the publicity away from the x factor.
Im sure the daily star wil be more likely to have jenny frost/ david dickinson on the cover etc.. than chico and the rest of the acts

Why the hell does I'm a Nobody have to be feature length though? 1 hour would suffice...

In fact why didn't they just do this:

4:30pm ITV News; Sports Results; Weather
4:45pm Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
7:30pm The X Factor
8:30pm I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
9:30pm The X Factor Results
10:00pm ITV News

So much more logical. But then, ITV wouldn't know the first thing about logic would they...

I think it will only because it's a daily show so there's more to report on, but both I'm A Celeb and The X Factor on a same night could go in the x factors favour.

Bad move in my opinion, of course I'll still be watching the results, but by the time they come on, my mum's asleep on the sofa, and my dad's in bed.

Of course not, the only good thing to come out of this would be if Harry Potter attracted a family audience, it would obviously start before SCD, if they stuck with it then just maybe The X Factor could win.

Well X Factor and SCD don't clash at all, once on that night. No overlapping or anything. That's a first.

Not really, it went out a 8pm a few times last series. Probably will this year as well, because of Doc Martin.

They can't have the sports results as early as that because the football matches don't end until about 4.50pm. Given their insistence on showing Harry Potter at Saturday teatime, they are showing it as early as they can.

I suppose by doing this they hope people will keep watching ITV all night until 11pm. Not me though, I cant stand "im a nobody get me a career". The ratings could suffer, a lot of kids watch the X Factor and would be in bed by 1030, and people go out after 9pm on a Saturday sometimes so might not be in for the results.

No chance whatsoever of getting my kids to bed that night!

I agree. I usually watch the results show, then go out. I'm not staying in until 11pm!

It will definately suffer in the ratings.

Another one here in the same boat, and as a clubber rather than a pubber even for me 11pm is too late to leave the house!

Is this Harry Potter a premier for ITV? They could have waited a month for Christmas.

Yep, well, all the clubs, I go to, open at 11pm, so I like to be out and about by then.

And, yes, Harry Potter is a premiere. I can't understand why they didn't wait until sometime like Boxing Day to show it.
