I have an 8000T and my problem is the machine keeps switching off during playback and rebooting losing the place on the programme being watched,. The programme isn't lost just the place it had got to. Has anybody else suffered this and did they solve the problem as it spoils an otherwise good product. ???

This sounds like a faulty disk to me, but I could be wrong.

Can you reformat the drive on the 8000T, as you can on the 9200T?. You would lose any recordings that you have not viewed or wanted to keep, but it may just fix the problem.

I have had this problem too. I only happens about once a month so I've learned to live with it. Using the navigation bar it only takes a moment or two to get back to the right place.
