I just read on here that one of the twins Sunita is having dies on Xmas day

Now that is just sick and the producers of Corrie are messed up in the head for doing that. We will not be watching Corrie this christmas.

On Christmas day when everyone is happy do you really think they want to see a new born baby die?

Dont watch it then. Simple solution. Soaps are hard-hitting, gritty and have to bear some form of resemblance to real life, where things like this unfortunately happen.

You're living in cuckoo land if you think everyone is happy on Christmas Day.

Did as many people complain when baby Amy was kidnapped last year and her parents left wondering whether Karen had blown her up?

What is this really going to happen? I can't see many people wanting to watch Coronation Street on Christmas day if this is the case. We are talking about a baby dying on a day were people are sitting down happy at home. I don't think this is right at all.

Do a lot of people actually watch Soaps on Christmas day though?
I always end up missing them! I missed the whole thing with Karen and Tracy last year and missed the repeat as well!!

It's not real life though. And as someone already said on this thread, not everyone is happy on Christmas Day. Corrie is already combining brilliant comedy (Cilla and Les) with devastating drama (Sunita and Dev) on Christmas Day.

Christmas isnt a magical day when disaster and death just dont occur and soaps have to mirror that.

Whether people believe its right or wrong, it looks set to happen, so either watch it or dont.

This will be sad no matter what day it happens, but people do die on Christmas day.

This is terrible. I had no idea this was planned I thought Cilla was to blow the chip shop up but if Corrie are doing this as well none of it will be funny as people will be thinking about the death of a baby. Awful timing for a storyline like this and the bloke who plays Dev really cannot act.

.
I don't agree with that. How will people find one thing funny after a baby has just been killed or died? whatever happens.

It's called "separating reality from fiction".
