I live down the road from pedigree petfoods, and I can assure you there are few worse smells than that. Although when my parents came to visit once my dad did ask what that nice smell was. I told him it was dog food.

We have had a healthy diet tonight as well- called in at chip shop tonight on way back fron carol concert ( daughter n local choir- had concert after panto today)

We tend to eat a lot of junk food in panto season ( also when doing shows and comps) as little time for anything else. Not good for a dancer, but they all seem to eat much the same at these times even thier teacher.

Must try to to eat too much of it though with christmas coming up as dont want to put on the weight Ive lost this year

Still as I cnat drink wine etc atm thats a few calories saved.
sat here with a glass of orange squash ( how sad)

My mummy told me never to tell the strange people on the Internet my address...but yes, it is. I trust you aren't going to hunt me down to kill me?

Shadow

I used to live in barracks, across the road from a pet food factory & Heinz was worse.

The combination of tomato, beef, chicken, various vegetables & pasta cooking in oil, was truly vomit inducing. I have to admit that, hand on heart, I have never been able to bring myself to buy any Hienz canned food since then.

Great thanks, although I was back stage and in dressing rooms with the kids today ( get to see it just befoe xmas) Daughter is a senior dancer and gets to do a solo dance on an empty stage. Its a Gipsy dance. Seemed to gp quite well. Kids all enjoyed it. No major probs

The seniors have had to learn and perfect 6 dances in a week!!!!!!!! and the SCD lot moan about 2! ( only joking I think they do well to do 2- but daughter cant see what fuss is about lol)

I am actually in a talkative mood tonight (blame it on the cheap wine), having good banter on the JLC v Claudia thread.

But this is still my favourite thread

Ah, that's a good thread, and what a lot of people aspire to but don't achieve- a good, intelligent debate with two sides. I'm reading, but as I only saw JLC for the first time tonight, I can't really comment.

Well, is it even possible not to love these forums? Much more interesting than trying to learn cases or actually reading books before I sit exams on them...(word of advice: never try it. It's a risky business...) and many lovely people to chat to.

Yes, it's my first late night posting. Usually I'm on really early in the morning or during work time if we're quiet! I can't stay away. I hope we all keep posting when the show finishes or it'll be a huge letdown!

I know what you mean Ally. I log onto my PC quite sure I am going to set to work writing a dull old essay but seem to end up here instead.

As you say in your location procrastinationville is a much nicer place to be.

Oh, you're in for a real treat! The bewitching hour's a great time...sometimes it's really slow, but other nights it's totally manic and very hilarious indeed. However, I really will head to bed soon, as I am tres tired...

Got to admit it is rather addictive. Just as your eyes are closing & you've been doing the nodding dog routine for ages, someone will post something that you just have to respond to & you're wide awake, back in the thick of things. Love it.
