...having been on other reality TV show forums where threads had loads of chatter...the mods sometimes move them to the chatter thread if they don't stay on topic...and we don't want that do we......

So I suggest we all carry on posting as we are....BUT...every post or so make some reference to SCD and dancing....even if it is randomly and with extra glitter on top...and we'll be back on target!

Morning, folks! Just got up from a very bad night's sleep in which I had, amongst others, one of my strange SCD dreams. I seem to spend a lot of my time in my dreams dancng...tonight I was VW in a library with Darren, but we were told to stop because we kept knocking over bookcases. I've never had a Darren dream before, but I do have a recurring dream where CRH is examining me in my oral exam and rips me to shreds. However, that isn't fluffy, so I won't speak of it.

I think one of you medical student should write a paper on postitis - you could get yourself put on the map for discovering a new 21st centrury disease.

Back on topic - don't let Anton have too many marshmallows, we don't want him getting a chubby bum, it wouldn't look so nice in his white trousers - unless you have a big bum fetish. (Sorry that's the best I could do to keep this on subject)

In my own attempt to keep this on topic, Ian was looking scruffy in a very lovely way last night and I have a strange desire to invite Claudia to come round my house at Christmas to play Pictionary with us

Have just been reading 6 pages of posts, apologies for joining so late. I think all the celebrities have really got guts to do something they are either not familiar with or are not particularly good at.

As a non dancer myself, but would like to be, I think they should be encouraged by the judges who should point out their good points and not just slate them for their mistakes. After all they had to learn too, and there is nothing more offputting than being put down. Probably that is why the voting by the public went so weird this weekend.

The professionals are stunning - hard to pick a favourite, but as a couple, Anton and Erin are wonderful!

I think the forum is settling down a bit now, I'm glad I love everyone left in, but was very sad to lose Will because he has such an excellent sense of humour and great stripy jumpers! I would be very sad though if Zoe and Colin and Darren and Patsy weren't in the final... except there's only three couples in the final *sigh*

I want Claudia to come round for a game of pictionary too, but I think maybe Cranium would be more fun because there's more scope for randomness.

I have to keep to my 'every post must include reference to custard tactics' promise from last night It's getting harder to slip em in but hey - I can always throw rhyme and reason out the window - Allybee, did you actually put it in your essay in the end?

I think a fair point was made last night about the voting. That those who got fairly ok marks by the judges are hampered by the public vote, who will generally assume they will be ok and vote enmasse for the bottom 1 or 2.

I have just been enjoying my first full day off in ages looking at the video clips of past series on the SCD website. Oh all right, I've been looking at everything I can find with Anton in it so I am kind of in a trance like Du Beke nirvana.

Also have been watching some of Len's masterclasses, which are really good so am feeling really mellow and aglow with pink fairy dust

I just wish we could have a DVD of past series - Anton and Lesley seemed even on a tiny clip to have so much chemistry between them. I missed them first time round and would love to see all the dances.........

I was wondering with the custard is it the proper thick yummy yellow kind or the odd strawberry flavoured kind I used to get at school sometimes?

On the subject of SCD dreams I woke up this morning (well afternoon ish) with a wonderful image, the scd judges desk and sitting behind it were Ian, Anton, Brendan, and Craig, with very large smiles and um (not much else)

Then I started thinking how wonderful it would be to wake up and find some of them at the end of my bed and was too scared to open my eyes for a bit incase it happened. Yes have finally totally lost the scd plot, am off to the night fever corner for a lie down and to have Anton cool my fevered brow. (And I wouldnt want Craig at the end of my bed, I quite like him but not that much!!)

Custard is thick and creamy and yellow. And the tactics are anything you like really - good/bad/whatever - I seem to be using them in every context Just go nuts - spread the yellowy love!

I've kind of got slightly lost with all the elephants, freezer fights, custard and ambulances, but it all sounds very exciting
