i just dont buy it and i dont buy the story line or the "over the top" acting, especially from Adam...

I don't see what's wrong with the storyline - it goes a way to explaining a lot.
It helps that Steph is my favourite character along with Val though

Adam is VERY hammy, though I think he's improved somewhat...
Alan is home after about 3 days?! Is that normal? |

the thing is with Steph we never know what's true unless we've "witnessed" it ourselves as viewers. You're right Drifter, it could explain loads about her as a character but also, it could be another twisted lie. This is why I love her!

Lorraine Chase is still doing a great job as Steph even though I find it very difficult to like Steph. I think that it's Adam who needs treatment. How many times does a Psycho have to tell you to get lost in Emmerdale before you actually go. Why is it that every time Steph talks about Terrence, I think of that dog from EE.

Is it me or was Alan just NOT acting in those last scenes? He was totally expressionless throughout, whilst Lorraine was really going for it. She was great again.
Felt very sorry for Steph there...I suspect what she's saying is true in spite of what happens tomorrow. Alan not believing her was natural I suppose, but it came across very harsh. Good to see King Gnome about WITHOUT all the other Kings in tow. Del's smile continues to light up the screen

Alan you fat bastard!
Poor poor Steph! Not wanting to see her again, how abrupt, harsh and cruel, surely he could see the state she was in Oh and I agree with Drifter...he was not acting very well at all in those last scenes but he's not that great an actor as a whole He was terrible when being driven towards the quarry |

It's good that Emmerdale is digging into the past to go about explaining why Steph is as she is. Many characters just turn nasty with no background to go with it.

I have a feeling Alan may regret ever shunning her. I think this brother may turn up and I think a nasty confrontation could be on the cards for bro/sis
