The paper that the judges hide....

Has anyone else noticed that as soon as the dancers have finished their routine, the judges pass a paper to each other extremely quickly, all write something on it (a score perhaps) and then Craig hides it under the desk ? I wonder what this is all about ?

Also, I am bemused by the voting on Saturday's show, Craig gave some positive comments at times and proceeded to mark quite low and there was a huge difference in the scores from the 4 ............ can't get my head around it........

There was a thread on this a while ago. It seems to be that the judges write their scores on the paper, so that the runners can come and get it so the producers know what score to put up at the end.

Having seen this last night from the viewing gallery, I can confirm a runner croucihng down runs off with the paper on which each judge writes something down, presumably their marks. Nothing sinister at all..

Craig puts it down on the floor cos the runner is right behind him.

Well let's face it - if you have the runners, you need as much paper passed to you as possible!

funny gojive

i actually watched bruno lean across and write '7' on the paper after a dance. i'm fairly sure it was will's, and then that's what he awarded

so it must be that they score on initial reactions and aren't swayed by anything said
