Emmerdale Vs Eastenders Thurs 24th November

I have just been reading through my weekly TV Choice and looked on to find that Emmerdale clashes with Eastenders YET AGAIN!!!! On Thursday 24th November.

I am fed up of this......

PS : Thursday schedule :
Emmerdale 7.00 - 8.00pm
Eastenders 7.30 - 8.00pm

I know. I will be watching Emmerdale as they are in Spain. I will watch EE at 10pm on BBC THREE.

It hasn't happened in a while.
And Emmerdale have a good reason for an hour long edition

Can we just watch what we want to watch...and just not mention it? Even as an Emmerdale fan I can say these clashes mean nothing. Obviously I enjoy E/Dale hour specials cause they're usually great, but still, it doesn't prove who's the most popular or whatever.

I'll just watch Hollyoaks on E4 while waiting for EastEnders. I'm not giving ITV the satisfaction, no way.

Well yeah...but I just wish the issue was avoided and no one mentioned it. Post the ratings as usual in the ratings thread and be done with it.

I can just about deal with clashes (althoguh they aren't ideal), I just don't like the publicity about ratings victories (or defeats) that comes with it. Hopefully the press will just ignore it.
