I don't beleive it either, or that it's the whole story.
Could be it's the text votes that's been leaked, or the telephone vote, rather than the total. Could be that it's a paper being fed a story, Maria being bottom in the poll wouldn't keep the pot boiling. |

I find these leaked document results a little unbelievable. Cant really see Chico beating Journey South and finishing behind only Andy and Shayne.

Surely the results reflect how well each act performed that week PLUS the votes from their fanbase...
Seems about right to me. Andy is very popular.... |

I find it hard to believe the Nicholas was in the bottom two the week before last, top last week, then in the bottom two again this week, especially as his performance last week was pretty poor. If it had been the Marvin Gaye week I MIGHT have believed it. As I've said on another thread I suspect this information has been leaked on purpose to boost voting revenue. After all - what have they got to lose? If it turns out later to be rubbish we have no comeback as it was 'unofficially' leaked and no-one has taken responsibility for it.
Does anyone know how many people are voting this series? I've got a feeling they aren't making as much money as they hoped (not surprising really as none of the contestants are that exciting) and all this controvery between Louis and Sharon, The Conways, leaked figures etc is all a way to get the public spending their money. |

Also, that is really unfair on everybody else. Chico is my favourite in the competition but everybody should be allowed to release tracks if Chico is... Another case of 'One rule for one person....'

I keep wondering who will be in the final and i keep coming back to those three acts too....of course, we could always have the shock of Chico in there, but i reckon he will come 4th. If i was a betting person, i would say- 1st - Journey South 2nd - Andy 3rd - Shayne (but he will get signed anyway) Sooooo.....in reality, the top 4 will probably all end up with a contract this year. |

It's quite clear that there is some sort of 'appeal' with Chico, quite likely from youngsters who make up a considerable quantity of the single buying public.
But like him or loath him (as Simon did clearly from the audition stages when he walked out of the room) there is a fast buck in there to be made and Simon is no fool. It's his show, his rules and he can do what he likes, as he appears to be doing with two rule benders for Chico so far. Compared to other artists, Chico has zero longevity and after his flirt with music he will (unfortunately) find a way onto TV as a presenter or general celeb type person who appears often on shows for no known reason. btw, I am not a fan of his cringeworthy efforts. |

If these figures are correct,Shayne could be exiting the contest very soon, whilst Chico could conceivably make the final 3.

If Chico were to leave soon the 'kiddie/teen' vote would be more likely to transfer to Shayne than any of the others, then the top 3/4 could change.

Seems to me that the Sunday Mirror has simply collated the order in which the acts have been called in the results show.
Obviously they don't believe Kate's ' in no particular order' and are trying to make out that the order in which they are called shows how they were placed in the voting. Wasn't it last week that Nicholas was called first as is the normal procedure for anyone who had been in the bottom two the week before? No mystery, no leaks, just the Sunday Mirror adding two and two together and coming up with five. |
