Bill Turnbull????????
Does anyone agree with me that Bill Turnbull is taking unfair advantage by showing his performance on breakfast time every Monday morning and discussing it and thanking everyone who voted for him. "Please vote again next week. I am doing the waltz"-----or whatever.
So unfair!

Not really. If they are fans they probably already vote. If they are not I don't suppose it helps him.
The ankle pictures will have been the thing to swing it (if anything did) |

Half the score for each couple is the public vote and we can vote for whomever we like for whatever reason we like. Isn't it great !
Everyone on the show canvasses votes in their own way and it's all part of it. They've all said vote for me! on the show and on ITT at some stage or another. James was promoting it on Ready Steady Cook and at the Good Food Show and although I don't think Darren arranged it there have been huge banners at the cricket which has got tv coverage. Fiona was promoted daily on the tele too but that's didn't help beyond week 4. The best part is no matter what anyone says you can vote for whoever you like so I wouldn't sweat it and just enjoy the show ![]() As far as the ankles pictures go - it looked pretty messy - it certainly wouldn't make me vote for someone - I'd wanna put some distance between myself and that foot

Bill is entitled to do whatever he likes in order to gain enough votes to stay in the competition, I have no problem with this. Zoe and Ian went out and about in Brighton last week for a meet and greet and it looked like loads of fun, and probably a better approach to the competition, but if that's the way that Bill wants to gain votes then he's quite within his rights to do it.

i don't think it's unfair - they all do what they can to get votes, plus the more people voting the more money to children in need..ok, some have more exposure than others but they'd be mad not to make the most of it!!

How about the unfair advantage that Patsy Palmer and Sid Owen have huh??
One in the Jungle, one on the Dance Floor. BOUND to be hugely helpful to each of them!! In terms of Bill .... yeah, actually I agree. But luckily he's such a dreadful dancer he'll be gone next week or the week after!! |

No of course it's not unfair! After all, the lines are open all week long so you could say, vote for a couple on Tuesday, without even seeing thier dance on the following Saturday! It's the same for all the dancers.

If Bill is able to schlep in a few more votes by doing that, then good for him! He has no more advantage than any of the others, since it's not just him doing something like that to get votes. Besides, I imagine some people watching Breakfast would be disappointed if nothing of Bill's Saturday performance was mentioned. |

Bill is so lovely, it should be law that everyone has to vote for him - he shouldn't have to encourage people to vote for him!
Until the justice system in this country is sorted out, I see no unfair advantage in him asking, very nicely, like he does for us to vote for him! As King of the Ballroom, and the most lovely, gorgeous man on SCD, anyone not voting should be warned, that when I have successfully campaigned for the law to change, they will be dealt with! ....must be my hormones!

I realise that Bill has displayed great staying power in overcoming injury to remain in the competition but to be honest I found the whole spectacle of his ankle rotting away before our very eyes quite replusive... I'm not sure he made the right decision in staying in as I thought he made a bit of a twit of himself on Saturday, which was a pity as he was really good last week.

I find it hard to believe Bill got higher marks from the public than the others if so its bbc children in need bias I think. Some others havent got a look in. At this stage you know it should be purely the dancing not if you feel sorry for someones foot etc

Sorry Aida I couldnt resist At every stage, the public can vote for whomever they like for whatever reason they like - as Tess and even Bruno said today 'vote to for your favourites' - that's how it works guys! The judges do the dancing bit and we do the rest And any Children In Need bias helps...umm... the children in need? |
