I was sorting out a tape to record last nights C4 show for my wife when I stumbled across a recording of the live task show from Sat night. Seeing as the Alex fans have been accusing Jonny of talking all over the messages I had a look. This is what actually happened,

Messages started and Jonnys mam is on the screen "Thats my mam" says Jonny, the camera starts panning round "thats my dad, YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE ITS THE WRONG MESSAGE" shouts Jonny to BB. The camera keeps panning amid general babble from the HM's until it settles on PJ's family, PJ shushes loudly for silence. PJ's family begin to speak, Kate says "there's my sisters at the back". Alex says "theres my mum and dad" and PJ shushes loudly again. The message is played in silence for a while, Tim says "there's my mum". The rest of the message plays out in silence.

General chatter from all HM's after PJ's message.

Kates message starts, no-one speaks during Kates message.


Now let me stress this was the LIVE task show so it wasn't an edited one. This got me thinking, are the anti-Jonny faction on here being influenced to a certain extent and seeing only what they want and twisting things to show him in a negative light.

Are the likes of Elysium manipulating a gullible public far more than Jonny could ever hope to?

Ha ha - well done Dr Mick for reviving this entertaining moment - Jonny screaming at BB to take his family's heads off the screen!
Remember the housemates decided who should be up for eviction and then Alex went to the Diary Room to tell BB who the chosen two were. Jonny had clearly been thinking that it would be easy for Alex to give a different answer to them! - otherwise he would have happily watched the family he professed to miss so much.

Interesting to see how his mind works!

if anything it was alex who shouted in the message. if they don't like johnny then fine. but they do not need to make things up, they can just say why they really don't like him or maybe what they really think maybe seen as discrimination. i don't know.

He really *was* certain he didn't want to see his family though, wasn't he. Instantly certain. Which rather points to the fact that all his moaning aboot missin me mam an da so much (Jeez get a grip you're 29 <at least> and you stiill whine like a baby not to mention live with mam and da) was a load of crap.

Yes, well done. I did think the same thing as you when i saw it later on the Ch4 programme. Dont know how people can say such blatantly biased things - to the point telling lies.

I have no idea what you're talking about re. being some other poster's 'sheep' - I'm perfectly capable of making up my own mind about things, thank you very much. I wasn't referring to when they had started playing the tape - I was talking about even before that, he was certain he didn't want to see them. Although now you mention it, his desperate shouting that he could see them was very telling too.

Dr Mick, if you still have the tape you could maybe check something out that's been one of the main discussions this week in my office. As the first 2 pieces of paper drawn were the marked ones, is it possible that Tim palmed them then put them on top to lessen the chance of him picking one? I can't say either way, but my friend is positive that's what happened.

I do think I remember him offering them to Jade to pick first, but she declined.

That's exactly how I saw it too.

I've never been influenced to think that Jonny spoke over everyone.

But the fact that Jonny thought he'd been stitched up by Alex, was MUCH more important than seeing his family.

After Jonny realised his error, it was okay then for him too get all choked up over seeing his mam, AFTERWARDS.

Thats exactly my point, you say Jonny thought he'd been stitched up by Alex. Did Jonny actually say that? No. Thats all the Alex fans are doing, they're saying Jonny said this BUT what he actually meant was....

And this is wrong, surely. No-one knows what goes on inside these HM's heads, therefore we have to take their words at face value. Has any court in the land tried anyone over wild speculation like this? I don't think so, we shouldn't either.

That's a fair point. Jonny thinking that Alex had done the dirty, is only what I reckon.

But the main point of my post, was suggesting that Jonny wasn't being sincere about how hard it was for him to see his mam.
The priority for him was that somebody made a mistake with the correct tape, his family was a secondary afterthought.

When deciding who was going to go up for eviction, Jonny was ever so quick to rule himself out of that because of reasons concerning his family. i.e. putting his family FIRST.

When the wrong tape was shown, his family came SECOND.

Markie and Dome love you posts. Although, I don't think you will get a reply Dome as I keep posting on threads re Johnny wanting to know why people want him to win and no one is replying. I wonder why? BTW I am not a Johnny hater, I just don't want him to win as I prefer Alex (or Kate).

That is not they way some of us saw the task last week - this does not mean we are making things up just that we see things differently.

I have said why I don't like Johnny on previous posts and am still awaiting a reply as to why you (and others) do like him. And I really cannot understand why you think it could be seen as discrimination because we don't like him.

I read what many on this forum had decided after last saturdays task and I was confused about how the Jonny-haters had come to such conclusions..after seeing Dr Mick's post I realise that they had just imagined it and I hadn't missed anything.
