[quote=lost boy]Well, as I say, it's a toss-up between good tariff (O2) or good CS (Vodafone), whichever one works out more beneficial for you is the one you should go for.
To be quite honest, signal strength (or lack of) isn't a particular bugbear of mine, although I did go on a little

though as you have a number of friends already on O2 who have no signal strength problems anyway it shouldn't be an issue for you in any case

CS is my bugbear as you may have guessed heh, which is why I'm on Orange as opposed to O2...
I know, I actually spent two weeks with O2 before going with Vodafone (I had to change within the 14 days "change your mind" clause as I realised O2 had not signal in my office building at the time) and I did have to contact CS on a few occasions to iron out the usual new contract issues. Well, I tried the phone and was kept on hold for ages, tried the online contact form three days in a row only to be told by an automated reply that their website was experiencing difficulties and my emails had not reached them... So yeah, considering it was right at the beginning of my contract, I was quite frustrated, but in hindsight I'm sure they were some temporary glitches, otherwise they would have ceased acquiring new customers since then!
Anyway, I've decided I'll buy an O2 PAYG sim so that I can compare first hand its signal with Vodafone's in the places where I spend most of the time...
Say I were really impressed by this network's performance, I might even decide to cancel my contract with Vodafone (six months remaining) after moving to the cheapest price plan and paying them off...
