Emma Watson
Emma Watson aka Hermione Granger from Harry Potter is desperate to be on SCD! She's a bit young but that could draw big audiences!
Here's where she said it: http://people.monstersandcritics.com...ble_collection |

Bless her the darling little poppet!
But I fear the fact that she has already had waltz lessons might disqualify her from joining. If she did well at all, there would be many detractors saying she already knew how to waltz and was therefore using custard tactics etc etc. I haven't seen the film yet but might go after exams. I believe I would very much love to see the boy/man playing Ron doing a samba or a tango or anything in fact - it's such a comedy thought. |

Smart girl! If I was rich and famous, I'd love to be on SCD too.
That's practically an agreement to do it (unless she's been misrepresented), if they're clever, the producers should be phoning her agent straight away! Ooh, is she short? She'd probably get Darren B if so! That would be cool! |

Lol you've just made me laugh, it would be very funny to see him dance too! There is like 2 seconds of walz in the filming and it's not even walz it's just like side stepping!! I'd love to see what she can do! And yea I'd say she'd get Darren she looks pretty small

How great would it be to have Hermoine on SCD?! One of my favourite characters (and yes, I know it'd be the actress Emma and not actually Hermoine but great nevertheless).

I think she is too high profile for the show though; I think the powers-that-be behind SCD try to choose people who are well known, but not so famous that they end up attracting all of the attention.

They should get her on ITT to talk about HP and about wanting to be on SCD. *taps screen* Claudia, are you listening? It would be much more fun than listening to 80s pop stars wittering about their latest fail-worthy foray into the charts.

Previous dance experience wouldn't disqualify her from SCD. Gill Halfpenny studied dance at Drama School, and I think, so did Aled.

Oh yes xadie, great idea! It would be good promotion for Harry Potter and for the show, I'm so jealous of that girl she gets everything! And just found out that she's 5'5 so she's probably get Darren is she was ever on it, see what I mean! Everything!

(but possibly not to share the sofa with some of the male dancers, I'd forsee a few 'incidents' and possible restraining orders )

But Harry Potter hardly needs promoting...
Seriously, if SCD ever stop selecting relatively unknown/lower profile celebs (like Will) in favour of internationally famous people, then I'll probably stop watching it. |

Can you picture it? They ask for random superfans and we'd be in the studio utterly unaware of each other's real name or likenesses and then someone would say something about custard tactics and we'd all realise
![]() I do hope they'll do the superfan thing again - just because it might be one of the people I know here

Polish clearly has the right idea - do what you like (but don't get caught on camera)

But do you think she would be too high profile a celeb to have on the show?

I think they'd love to have her, but they'd need to have some other high-profile types on too. She's a heroine to hoards of screaming, voting tweens, so no-one else would stand a chance against her...
Unless they got McFly on too... It could all so easily descend into anarchy! But it would also spank ITV in the ratings. |

I think Emma Watson's a bit too well-known for SCD. I like the way that they pick people who are celebrities (rather than I'm A Sleb, which should be re-named I'm A Z-List Nobody) but that no one really knows all that well, because part of the fun is getting to know them.
I also think she's a bit young. I have very set views of what I like in my SCD, see Though having said that, if I were as well known as she is, I would totally be saying that I wanted to be on SCD in the hope that they'd ask me to! And wouldn't she be too busy with all the HP stuff, anyway? |

They have around 4 - 5 months of at Christmas from shooting I think, plus I live near where she goes to school so if she can go to a regular school some of the time she must have time off.....oh God I knew I was a Harry Potter Freak but didn't know I knew that much.
I would love her on it - that's because I love all things HP but I think it would be good to see. And NO I'm not a tween....am almost 20 thank you very much
