I don't know about you, but I reckon Len will work wonders with Fiona, getting her ready for the final show when she has to dance again.
No disrespect to Brendan, but I don't think he had the right approach.

If he does he should be canonized because it will prove conclusively that he really does have the patience of a saint.

Fingers crossed for Fiona and a kick in the pants for Brendan if Len succeed!

It's not a fair comparison if Len does succeed though. He has what, five weeks, and Brendan had to teach her a dance in just one. With that amount of time, surely something must sink in! Will she be dancing with Len, though, or with Brendan?

Fiona was getting good with the foxtrot, so Brendan has done all the ground work. Plus there will be less pressure than performing on Saturday night. It will be no reflection on Brendans talents as a teacher.

I acutally was a bit shocked, by this last night! i was thinking i bet brendan is like wtf!? are they saying i cant teach!? I think he did wonders considering what he had to work with!?? lol

HOpe she improves a bit more anyways!

I think brendan did a fantastic job with fiona in the foxtrot the first thirty seconds, she actually did v well! so he did do what he set out to do!

I agree whole heartedly, IF Len pulls it off it will be a miracle of Lazarus proportions, heck if he doesn't kill Fiona he'll be worthy of a medal.....

I do agree with the poster that said perhaps Brendan had the wrong approach with Fiona, cos all she ever says is she can't and Brendan's tactics would never work with someone like that IMHO.

I think she will continue her 'I can't' posture even with Len teaching her.

Why couldn't they have chosen one of the ousted celebs who would have been at least a little more eager and appreciative of the opportunity to dance again. She looked like they were offering to pull her toenails minus anaesthetic.

I imagine Dennis and Will would be a little bit peeved that Fiona gets to hang around the ITT/SCD experience after she was voted off. I wonder who came up with the idea - Fiona did not look thrilled - it all looked a bit awkward.

And I forgot to say before... where was Simon Jones?? I was soo looking forward to that!

Wonder what treats await us tonight

i think because i if she had more time she would have improved, maybe not to top marks standard but enough so she could feel proud of her self,. as she went out the week she did her best performance! and maybe once to pull a good performance off at the final!

why isn't Brendan training Fiona for the christmas special?

Is fiona in the christmas special!?!

Fiona won't be in the Christmas Special but her training with Len should make a big improvement when she takes to the floor with Brendan in the Final on Dec 17th.

Yes, Claudia confirmed it last night!! If Fiona's silly attitude, horrible posture and continual whining don't change, then her appearance is going to ruin the whole show for me!! Keep her off, I say!! (Boo! Hiss!)

Fiona better improve for the final then. Good luck len, you're gonna need it.

Whist its a good idea for the show and its really good to see Len teach I do think its very disrespectful to Brenden. If they don't like his attitude then he shouldn't be asked to join in. He was, and so he should be respected.

Its very wrong. They have never done this with Quentin.

Now, thats an idea to make Christmas special.....

FP and QW together!

I actually have a lot of time for Fiona - I like her on GMTV and I think she has a great sense of humour. I actually think that she and Anton would have been a better match and might have gone further. His silver tongue and her humour would have gone extremely well together and I thik would have taken the nation by storm.

Anyway, good luck to Len - but the way it has been done doesn't seem good for Brendan, unless he's happy with it.

Well in fairness to Brendan they had 6 weeks to get ready for the Waltz which is one of the simplest dances to do - and Fiona was BAAAD in that.

Will be very interesting to see if Len can get her to do anything better than Brendan did.....

I agree, the Fiona bashing on these forums is just ridiculous. I sympathise with her becuase I know how she feels i.e. being hated by several people for no particular reason.

I hope she does well in the christmas special.

Here here Peter. That's why I started this thread. Give the poor woman a chance! There's nothing wrong with Brendan as a teacher, it's just that he and Fiona were like two different species! He finds dancing second nature, she finds it a torture. I would imagine that the same thing happened to her as happened to me. I was told by my school dancing teacher when I was a teenager, that I had 2 left feet no sense of rythym and was'lumpy'. That stayed with me for years and I felt inferior to anyone who could dance and Oh such a failure.
My husband taught me to dance... I'll never be good or comfortable dancing, but I ger around the floor now! Confidence and patience is everything. Let's not knock Fiona eh? if you can't find something nice to say about her, than don't say anything.

You know when the do that 30 seconds dances on the final who will fino dances with brendan or len ?
happyfeet

It'll be Brendan dancing with Fiona - they were the official couple. Len is trying to give her a better grounding in basic steps and hopefully more confidence. Then she'll be able to enjoy her 30 second dance at the end of the programme.
