Cos obviously the ranting and nastiness approach has not worked so the carfully, carefully approach might be more successful. Brendan will look like a right idiot if Len is successful, but maybe he will learn something ..............

Anyway, good luck to Len - but the way it has been done doesn't seem good for Brendan, unless he's happy with it.”

So who would have been the right partner for Brendan ?

Hmm I don't know really... watching the dances from the USA Dancing With The Stars, I'd say either Kelly Monaco or Rachel Hunter wouldv'e been fantastic - but I agree, it is hard to think of people Brendan would be good with... anyone who's willing to bend to his will, not answer back and work really hard - which I suppose is sort of fair enough.

how about Zoe? I don't think Patsy would have been the right partner but maybe Zoe would have been

Mmm maybe, I'm not sure whether Zoe would've answered back to him... actually she might not have. She seems to be a trier and as we know has some natural ability. I have heard rumours on a different thread that Zoe had said she was 'offered' Brendan at first but then she preferred to be with Ian. I guess she's tall enough to be a good match with either of them.

Good on Len for teaching her and I wish them both all the best . There won't be the pressure for Fiona to learn like there was for the weekly dances so hopefully she'll be able to relax a bit more and then the dancing will come more easily.

She's been the only celeb that's been knocked out that everyone comes to hug when the credits come up without a final dance so she must have been popular with them all.

She refused to dance with Brendan ( given his reputation and her recent marriage issues, the beeb probably thought this would be a match made in heaven for the ratings), possibly too much temptation............... Ian is right for Zoe as he is so supportive, there probably would have been fireworks with Brendan. Out of the current crop of women then there doesn't look to be an obvious partner for Brendan other than Fi. What does everyone else think about the pairings ????????

(Quite right that he needs someone to completely bend to his will ................hence the current fling with the 17 year old.........)

Hope the beeb find a good match next year as the program isn't quite the same without him...............

I wonder if any women would have been suitable for Brendan this time, I think he would only be really happy with someone who was very good and very confident about their dancing. Not once did you here Darren complain he was with Gloria, he knew he didn't stand a chance to win this time but he never moaned like Brendan, even if Fi wouldn't have gone on about not being able to do it and tried her utmost best, I think Brendan still wouldn't have been happy. He wasn't happy with Sarah Manners and she wasn't that bad

I think zoe would have suited brendan but I think no one can replace the magic that Natasha and brendan had in series 1

Definitely not Patsy- arguments galore I think! Zoe would have been ok with Brendan, but Ian is more encouraging and brings out the best in her.

I agree with you, Zoe is the only other one I can think of, but what makes me so annoyed about Brendan is why he always has to have a very good partner. You never hear Darren complain or Anton when he had Esther. Everything has to be perfect for Brendan. Why does he always have to win? It would be so boring if he won every year

I love Brendan to bits but it would get boring if he did win every series

The professionals must know when they sign up for the programme, that they could be paired with anyone. So it is totally unreasonable to complain about it. I agree that Darren B has never once complained about Gloria, and it was obvious that given her age and ability they would go out early. In fact, he went out of his way to praise and encourage her. I would add that none of the female professionals have moaned about their partners either as far as I am aware, they also have encouraged people of limited ability and natural talent. Of course, all the celebrities and professionals would love to win, but there is more to the show than that. Gloria has consistently said that she had a wonderful time and that it was one of the best things she has done and she had great fun, and I think that that reflects on the professional dancer (Darren) that she was paired with. Brendan is a great dancer, but maybe his interpersonal skills are somewhat lacking.??

As many good-looking blokes tend to do.. sadly It's finding the non-arrogant ones that's the trick.

I don't know if Zoe would have been right with Brendan she really puts herself down a lot and even when Ian made one comment she got really upset - she needs as much support as Patsy really - Brendan needs somebody really confident in themselves but not aggressive - don't know if this makes sense?

Yea it does make sense. I think Ian is the perfect partner for Zoe, he's a pillar of strength for her really
