BB's nightmare must surely be a 'titan' clash in the eviction battle for next week - as they want the top contenders fighting it out in the last week (more tension, more votes, more money). Therefore, a battle between either Alex, Kate or Johnny, with scapegoat Tim 'magically' avoiding nomination, would be a disaster. After all, C4 is 'shaping' the show to ensure that Tim is routed with record votes - hence his complete demonisation. Putting him up against Alex for example (pretty likely) would work well, and even Jade!
Their other nightmare must surely be a Jade eviction; they must prefer the idea of her departing amidst the euphoria of a last night shoot-out, to ensure zero nastiness (and zero lawsuits etc).
Bizarrely, to avoid these headaches, may mean relying on JADE, as the group now "looks" that bit more polarised since PJ's exit, as he was very much a glue between the Johnny/Kate axis and Alex/Tim - and Jade. Obviously the Johnny/Kate axis is the strongest bond in the house by far. Tim and Alex might have a bit of a mutual appreciation society, but it seems more about knowing they work in the same business in the outside world, and are therefore 'networking'. Weirdly, with Jade as 'casting' vote, she has an unusual position of power. I think it will be the J/K axis who realise this most and court her best. For all the talk of group unity, I still think voting might go along 'party lines', so to speak. Kate and Johnny are saying that they are concerned about nominations for this reason, clearly assuming that Alex and Tim would vote for them - this indicates, surely , that they would plan to vote for Alex and Tim as a defensive measure.
Party-line voting would be dangerous if Jade's votes set up a straight Johnny-Kate battle. However, I feel sure Alex will vote Jade rather than Kate, skewing these results. In this instance, BB's worst case scenario would be Jade nominating Alex and Johnny, as this would exclude Tim again (and herself) and set the stage for another key battle.
Of course it's way too early to predict noms just yet, with a 'task' and weekend to get through, but C4 must see the destiny of their show's 'finale' week and the ability to max out revenues potentially slipping through the hands of their hodge-podge HMs. Can they risk it? Or would a 'rigged' task-based noms process prove a more trustworthy option?
