Why you shouldn't vote Tim out
Ollie
13-07-2002
Bear with me on this...

Assuming they don't mess with the nomination procedure again, it's likely to be Tim & Jade up for eviction next week. But before you vote for Tim, bear these facts in mind:

Whoever gets voted out next week, gets a decent eviction interview. Whoever leaves the week after, probably gets short-changed. Wouldn't you sooner see Tim short-changed? And isn't Jade's interview likely to be more interesting than Tim's? So vote Jade out next week, when she's likely to get a better interview.

Whoever gets voted out next week is on BBLB throughout the following week. Jade on BBLB has the potential to be hilarious. Tim on BBLB will probably be quite dull. So let's make sure it's Jade.

Lastly, Tim wants to go next week! So don't give him what he wants. His worst scenario is to get to the end and then not win. Let's make that come true for him!

(If by some miracle he's up against anyone other than Jade, then forget all the above and by all means vote the tosser out of there...)

I would kinda like to agree with you, but I just cant stop myself from hoping with all my heart that he gets evicted in a race between him and Jade. He would be sooooooooooo gutted.

I agree. Get Jade out this week and we'll all enjoy her appearances on the various shows in the run up to the final.

If she stays until the end, thats it, the end, no-one will be slightly interested in seeing anyone from the house.

No can do.Tim goes next week lol

I see your point Daisyanne, but think how much more gutted he'll be if he wins a public vote - thus reinforcing his ridiculous belief that people actually like him (and probably making him even more obnoxious, thus stirring up more anti-Tim feeling during the last week) - and then exits the house to be greeted by a hail of boos!

I'd much rather see Jade go before Tim, simply because she deserves to.

If it is Jade v Tim this week it's going to be a hard one. Jade really shouldn't reach the final week, if only to shut Norton up. But the idea of seeing a smug Tim beat Jade is too much. Whatever happens I won't be voting so you decide.

That's the beauty of it, Tim will be unable to remain smug after the reception he's going to get when he leaves the house; but the smugger he gets before then, the sweeter will be his downfall.

whats sweet would be if 4 people were up for nomination with 2 votes each and the public voted him out, with a landslide 95% or better, and have to face the question from davina as to why he thought it was.

If its interesting entertainment to be voted for, Jade is the one who should stay in. her staggeringly quotable quotes, volatile temperement, strange observations, fantastic facial histrionics. She is going to easily be the most memorable housemate this year., for good or bad. She has made her mark with a hugely charismatic character.

In comparison, Tims overworked (by the media) of his hiding his true hair color just doesnt compare. All we see is him preening his hair in the mirror. His arrogance, conceit, wet-blanket attitudes towards other housemates just mean he should be the first one turfed out, with a brief pause to watch his reaction to being chosen over Jade, before he is relegated to the dim and distant past.

He just doesnt deserve to be in. He himself has expressed a desire to leave. He is not contributing anything. On the contrary, he is bringing down anything positive watchable or entertaining in the program.

he is dull, dim, despicable, detestable and deserves to go.

You just hit the nail on the head with that one!

Although I dislike Tim more I would actually vote Jade out because I don't know if mentally she would cope with another 2 weeks in the house, plus I don't know if I want to see her make more of a fool of herself, I think it would be very cruel to leave her in and the way the house are openly showing their dislike for her I don't like Jade because of the things she has done to Sophie, the bitching etc. But then I don't like to see people suffer or make themselves more disliked.

well, she can weather it fine. she might keep getting nominated like jonny, but the longer she stays in the less any really bad reaction to her ( ie booing, bad press etc.). what she faces inside is going to be much less than what could happen outside. she is better off inside. she is emotionally immature and needs time to settle down.

Better to get Tim out.

no tim should go first, i think jade is coping better than most. she heard stuff about herself last night thinking it was bad and said that she had been herself and the public either love or hate you , she can't change anything and isn't bothered about it.
what she is getting upset about is the way the other hms are treating her...we need at least another one to go up against her and lose..give her confidence and confuse the hms big time.

No..Tim out first, definatly. I dont think I can stand another week of his posturing. I quite like Jade now. Maybe it's because I cancelled all my tabloid newspapers a week ago.

I noticed that the "Eastern Eye" newspaper has started a campaign to "Kick out the Big Racist" with a picture of Tim on their front page.

I think if Tim was voted out over Kate or Jonny he'd be upset but if he was voted out over Jade - he'd probably never get over it.

Yeah the same. I'm sure I remember him saying that if it was him and Jade up together she wouldnt have a chance. His face next Friday would be much better than Adeles was last week and that was good!

Although I prefer Jade to Tim I think if they are the two up for nomination then I will be voting for Jade to leave. My reasons are different to those proposed as the basis for this thread, and are that I think that Kate being the sole female left with three males will have a better chance of winning what will be a tight three way fight.
