MSN Messenger on Nokia 6230i
Browsing the orange website today, it states that my Nokia 6230i can use MSN messenger. On following the on-screen instructions, I am told to contact my service provider. On ringing customer services they advise no-one there is aware that MSN messenger can be used on this phone. Can anybody out there shed any light?

You can access MSN mobile on your phone which is a WAP version of the MSN portal but not MSN messenger, the official client is only available on windows based smartphones. There is a messenger I use on nokia series 60 smartphones called agile messenger but I checked the website and there's nothing available for the 6230i If you search third party download sites you may be able to find a messaging clinent that cna access MSN but I wouldn't hold your breath to be honest, I never managed to find one when I was using a series 40 device.

I use Trillian Pro and IM Everywhere then you just put your IP address into your phone and your away. But ofcourse you need your pc to be on and trillian to be running, which it not great for everyone
