I've almost decided to get a Toppy.
The last thing I need to find out is:- can the Toppy record automatically from a sky box via the scart connection when the sky box is set to autoview a program.
I do realise the Toppy is a digital terestrial tv pvr, but it would be nice if it would record the sky channes.

The Toppy (and in fact every other PVR apart from Tivo come to that) can NOT record from anything but the built in tuners as these recorders do not have the MPEG encoder that would be needed to record from an external source.

Any DVDR or DVDR+HDD *will* have the MPEG encoder that's needed so maybe you need to look at one of those if you want to record Sky. 'Course if you only ever record stuff from the same channels that are on Freeview you'll be OK with a Toppy.
