I'm looking at transfering some recorded programs from the DHD4000 to the PC for editing then burning onto DVD. I'm not too kean opening the Thomson so can anyone recommend any equipment eg. capture cards that I need do it? Cheers

rather co-incidentally, someone just posted a message about such a device here:

He was having problems with it but I've got the same thing and it worked fine for me.

About £25

(you'll have the same limitations as recording to a DVDR - that is that it can only be done in realtime and the picture has to go digital-analogue-digital which will degrade quality)
