Do you think that Alex peaked too early, and that now the novelty has worn off, he as reverted to being just an annoying little twat?
I think his winning is much less of a foregone conclusion now. On the other hand, Jade might peak just at the right time ..... |

Sorry couldn't resist it.

I think maybe he did peak too soon. I wasn't happy when he and Spencer were up against each other because at the time they were my two favourites. I didn't vote that week because I couldn't decide who I wanted to stay more.
Now Alex is irritating me, and has been since around week 6. . |

He is the one person left who I would like to meet outside the house, given an opportunity. The rest just appear too one-dimensional to me and Jade is too loud. BC who likes a quiet, but interesting life |

He so reminds me of Jim Carey.

He could win, he could not! Digital Spy's polls seem to be changing every day between Alex, Kate & Jonny!
I want Kate to win

I don't think that Alex's winning of the series has ever been a foregone conclusion - Jonny has always been up there as a contender too, and lately Kate has entered the mix as well.
I don't think he's annoying, I don' t think he 'peaked too soon', but sadly neither am I convinced he'll win - I've thought for a long time, that it'll probably be old dead eyes who'll walk away with that acolade...which I've now learned he can put alongside his "best trio" and "Regal Northern club entertainers of the year" awards.... |

Which is a bit bizarre as I dislike Jim Carey

Dermot "Alex moves like a Veloceraptor" Guest " I think he's more like the Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks" He's never been my favourite but I can't deny that the guys got entertainment value. As for shooting his bolt too soon he's got more peaks than a meringue so it depends how he reacts to the remaining HMs ,I think he's without doubt top 3 (Kate and Jonny being in there also) but the floating vote will damage him if he isolates himself with Tim (ala the Sandy and Adele associations) and gets all miserable and bitchy |

This is exactly the way it was supposed to go, CH4 cleverly made Jonny a fave, with clever editing on the website and CH4 show. I read a magazine the week Spencer got evicted. There was an article by Bubble, he said that Spence and Alex were his faves, but at the end of the day he wanted Alex to win. He said as it seems now it's a foregone conclusion that Alex will win, CH4 are going to have to put in another runner, he then said maybe they could groom Jonny as the contender with some clever editing.Anyone who's watched E4 then compared it to CH4, will see that's exactly what they have done. Look at the audience on eviction nights, no banners for Alex and full of Jonny fans, then as I said in my other post "we are all being taken for fools" make Alex look bad all the time, then show Jonny to be wonderful. You only have to read the descriptions on the news article website. Alex, part of scheming duo, gossip, old housewife, whinger, bitchy, he's even just been called a former clothes horse!! Compare all of these terms to Jonny's, loveable fireman, comical housemate blah blah blah. As I've said before I dont hate Jonny, I just dont want to watch him and there is no way he should win. |
