No offence taken.

In the end it is a light entertainment show and people are going to vote for who they like the best - usually decided by a number of factors, including the dancing and the pertness of the behind. I'd be very surprised if there was more than a small minority who base their votes on everything but the dancing. In a show like this though it is never going to be the only factor - as long as it's one of them, I'm happy.

And as for features we should see on the show, I'd love to have Strictly Confidential back. That way we'd be guaranteed snippets of training news every day. I will never forget Aled treading on poor Lilia's hair...

Peach you naughty little vixen - bending the will of impressionable mini-dancers I do love the mental image though, it's so impossibly cute!

ROFL! The power you must have over those young minds!

It was very cute! I couldn't believe they yelled out "Bill & Karen" too I am quite certainly brainwashing them!

On a more serious note though... SCD is marvellous for teaching the kids style when they dance. My latest phrase is "Lift your arms up - you don't want to look like Fiona do you?"

I miss Strictly Confidential!!!! It's been a bit mad becuse there were so many more couples, I think it will calm down though and we'll get to see more. I really miss Darren & Jill's and Aled & Lilia's training clips, they were all just so cute!!!

Bless them! Darren was on ITT today! Yayness! It's just not the same without him.

I agree though, I definately got more into last series and cared more about it. But I've still warmed to couples this year, which is why I'm getting frustrated that we can't see more of them!

I think we should have more traiining footage because all we seem to have is the updates on wednesday

I don't know why we're not seeing the footage as obviously its there given the outtakes that they show at the end of the programme. Now there are less couples there's even less of a reason

Is it just me or is anyone else finding it harder to warm to couples this series than it has been in any other series????

Which got me thinking, the only real training clips on ITT we get to see these days are those little snippets at the end, which really don;t tell you anything about the people or their relationships or ones showing their dancing progress! Where as in the past series we saw loads of it - Anton and lesley larking around, Natasha and Brendan flirting their t*ts off! Aled and Lillia messing around and having a laugh and Denise and Ian being fantastic!!

Do you think that possibly they want peoples voting to be more based on the dances rather than the personalities, which is why they have somewhat masked people's personalities this series!???? If that is the case? Is this really the show that we all fell in love with in the first place, as the judges are supposed to be the ones to vote on technique, where as the public vote on their faves (dancing or otherwise!) Just seems like we are being subconsciously forced to vote for the best technical dancer, but for me the show is lacking without the personalities!!!

I want to see *more* training clips on ITT!!!! At the minute it is all about each couple and what they did the previous saturday - ALL WEEK LONG! Roll with the punches ITT bring us the gossip from the training room, other than when someone has injured themselves!!!

Take Will - saw Will on ITT the other night and I actually liked him!! He seemed like a really funny guy!!!!

Now if ITT had not stopped showing training clips then I may have voted differently!!!!! Will going out is a clear sign that people don't vote for the dancing on SCD- Will went out because he was the least famous person left on it - had ITT showed training clips and we had got to know him, we would have given him more of a chance and appreciated what dance talent he had - (which he clearly did). For me if I don't warm to the couple (through getting to know them) I won't vote for them no matter how fab they are at dancing, and I think that is the same for a lot of people.

Sorry for the essay, but just wondered if anyone else felt the same way.

I think the footage is very manipulative this year. Theyve given every couple an image true or not and kind of pushed the votes in the right place ie a male to win

Yeah, I agree - I really want to see more training footage, damnit! I want to see more of the celebrities and the professional dancers, I really want to get to know them better. But I'm still so thankful for It Takes Two though, I never miss the show

I'm getting annoyed with the amount of useless guests that appear. More trainging footage would be so much better! After all, the show's about the celebs and the pro's, not some random singer who watches every now and then.

See, I don't mind if someone's really there to talk about the show. Adam Woodyatt goes on all the time, because he's been a big supporter of the show every series. He talks about Patsy or whoever, and just seems to love all the campness and glitter. What I don't like is when they have someone like Bananarama on as a feeble excuse to show their new video. That I can definitely do without.

Ok I agree but it terms of truly useless guests.. who've we had - Bananarama, Rick Astley and Paul Anka. I can't think of any more really... I suppose the Heat lads aren't always as informative as they could be (e.g. Boyd Hilton), but considering we've had about 6 weeks of ITT (so over 30 programmes), that isn't too bad I think.

We love it so much that perhaps we're a bit more demanding, but I agree, it would be great if they didn't waste any MORE time on these peeps.

Agree with you all re this series, but must admit I have enjoyed the whole thing. It's really quite interesting to watch the personalities at work even though it's obvious auntie beeb is doing some tweaking with the footage.
I really love the Latin and therefore the latin guys and dances sway me, but do vote for who I think is best on the night and Darren and Lilia have got most of my votes.

By the way Colin is actually as nice as he appears and being competitive isn't a bad thing............

I was thinking last night, and I may be stepping on my own point here, but on ITT yesterday it was clips of Len and the judges using food analogys to describe the performance, and I wondered where the training clips had gone - maybe this year the celebs are just too boring and don't create enough footage!!

I do hope the BBC are gonna prove me wrong!
