Before we carry on assassinating Jade, let’s remember she has an excuse or two. She comes from a disturbed and deprived background where she received little worthwhile education, and was hand picked by a bunch of middle-class, money-grabbing shysters to be ruthlessly exploited as the ugliest specimen in the BB house… She’s a product of her environment and much less of a ‘wannabee’ [in the true sense] than some of the other housemates such a Kate & Jonny.

She’s been vilified by almost everyone and at every turn, made into a laughingstock by many of the tabloids.. *but* wouldn’t it be the decent thing, not necessarily the right thing, that after providing us with so much entertainment in her own inimitable way that we build her back up and let her win *something* in her life that means so much *more* to certain other more ‘desperate’ housemates than herself. Just think of the satisfaction you would have in seeing Jonny & Kate’s face [remember how you salivated at the thought of Jade surviving Adele] as she survives both those sad desperate failures who have no real talent.

Jade has made this show much more entertaining for her being herself .. She’s not perfect, no one ever said she was.. But surely its time to put those most desperate for fame to one side and make this series of Big Brother about the redemption of one person that we have single handily torn to shreds at one time or another..

Lets make this BB less about "wannabees" in the traditional Jonny & Kate mould ..

I sort of agree with you elysium but I want Kate to win. If she doesn't then I would be happy for Jade to win it. I just hope she doesn't waste the money.

I agree with not making BB into a wannabe show (but it's a bit too late now)

Jade applied to go on there though, so whatever happens is subsequent to that first action. Whether she is being herself or not I vacillate in my conclusion. Bu she has shown some less than endearing traits.

BB picked her, for whatever motive and maybe they are the ones who should apply for the role of Prof Higgins.

I’m gonna puke if I read one more post excusing this heinous wretch for her behaviour. The only grounds I will even consider that on are if she’s declared mentally incompetent otherwise FFS let’s stop apologising for this person.

As for voting her as winner - Go ahead. make her "Fool for a day" but be aware you’re doing it out of pity, nothing more.

Yes - I feel that rather than encouraging wannabes we should send a clear message to people who act badly - scream and shout when they don't get their own way and generally make life difficult around them - yes you can be a winner its right to behave like this.

Lets feel sorry for her because other people are fed up of her behaviour and haven't got time for her - lets feel sorry for her because she realized (after being told) that bullying sophie was making her look bad - but its ok she got sophie to apoligise to her because she made Jade do it. Lets feel sorry for her because the press went over the top and needed to be calmed down by Endemol and most of all lets send a clear message to Big Brother contestants - behave as badly as you like - thats the way to win.

Not having any discernable talent doesn't stop her being a wannabee!

The decent and proper choice in this would be for Alex to win the show and for Jade to come second.. and for Jonny and Kate to be the least rewarded of all the housemates; both are failures in the entertainment industry and appearing on Big Brother should result in the same “closed door” attitude that everyone else has given them... and at least if Jade is a "fool for the day" its better than being a "fool for life" like K & J ..

I think not, hardly born with a silver spoon in her mouth but she seems to have a parent who loves her, which is more that can be said for many who turn out better than Jade. The same goes for her schooling, Bacons (hehehe) looks to be a good school, she chose not to apply herself. Sorry Elysium, Jonny bashing I can understand but this devil's advocate stuff is getting out of control.

With a little clever editing from Channel 4 you just don’t know what might happen .. remember, these are the very same people that have been fooled into being “jonny we love you” fans .. if that’s possible, anything is..!

Oh I don't doubt C4/BB could turn Jade into a national hero and have her canonised by popular demand if they wanted to. Hopefully, in the interests of a just outcome, they'll figure more money can be made from phone votes by building on the popularity of already well liked housemates. As we know, the winner will be decided by votes for someone rather than against someone else. So, after the inevitable eviction of Tim this Friday, I don't think it'd be in BB's interests to create new hate figures. No less than that could save Jade, hopefully.

Of all the housemates, I think the BB experience has changed Jade the most. I think exposure to a group of people from differing backgrounds and with better education than her has done her the power of good, and helped her come both to some sort of acknowledgement of her shortcomings and to a way of addressing those.

I also agree that Jade has been excellent entertainment. Love her or hate her, she's been pretty compelling viewing, she's made you laugh and/or scream at the telly - what more can you ask of a BB housemate?

I personally would like to see her come somewhere in the final 3 if for no other reason than these.

Jonny, of course, has to FAIL, and miserably so. Kate, I like, but if her place in the final 3 goes to Jade, I'll be happy.
