Alice in Emmerdale (may or may not contain spoilers)
Hi,
A friend of mine said that Alice dies following the birth of her baby leaving the Dingle clan to bring up the child. I just wondered if anyone actually knew for sure how this storyline pans out ? |

I hope not, that's awful! And plus it'll make something like the 7000th time I've cried at an E'dale episode this year.

That is terrible! I really hope that is not true.
I actually have taken a shine to Alice. - Steph |

Im not a big Alice fan myself, I think Emmerdale has too many dim and lifeless characters so if true it would be an interesting storyline.
I gather we do know she has to choose between her own life and the life of her baby and the conundrum will be which she chooses. |

I try to hide it and fail, naturally. I was a total wreck when Max died, puffy circles under my eyes, permanently smudged mascara for days, miserable, mood swings, the lot. How sad am I?

I do remember hearing a while ago that Alice may die, so this could be very possible.

So the sole purpose of bringing her back was to die? How ironic that she's ten times better than Sam, and a BILLION times better as an actor. I'd be happier if HE died and she survived (though Zak losing 3 sons is a bit much

This is identical to a plot in Family Affairs at the moment, though the FA one is slightly better...at the moment (it is in full swing after all and has their best actress involved)...but because it's being axed we won't see it's conclusion.
Ideally Alice will come very close to death following the birth (for the sake of emotional drama ), but recover...or what if the baby actually dies during the birth? I don't know if cancer can affect that? Either way, I'd like Alice to stay, as long as they made her a bit more intelligent. Especially if Emily doesn't return... |
