Will we be robbed?
A few days ago the mood on this forum was very much in favour or letting the house mates know what kind of a character Tim was by getting the crowd shouting over the wall "Get Tim out". I myself was intitally glad when I heard the chanting last night - at last I thought, now they will know the truth. Thinking about it however I now believe that it is wrong for the HM to hear things over the wall, such as the get out chants, as it does ruin the idea that the show is itself is enclosed apart from the rest of the world. Tim now knows what we all think of him, and after Adele last week I don't think he is going to stick around to get booed, and will now probably walk. This will be a shame on the viewer who would like to see Tim's eviction night, but will be robbed because he has now been forwarned as to what might happen to him.

Other people have mentioned it, but I really don't think Dim will walk.. Do you realize the lack of mirrors from the house to the hotel? He'd never cope!!

I agree totally. Any direct contact from the outside unbalances and changes the internal dynamics of the house. Prior to hearing these chants Tim was under the illusion that he was quite popular.
Didn't BB play loud music to the HMs on eviction nights during BB2 to stop this type of outside interference? |

Personally I think they should keep Tim in, but was looking forward to the look of shock on his face when he realised what a prat he'd portrayed himself as. I thought Adele handled herself very well, but I don't think Tim has the strength of character that she does. |

I think it is a bit cruel any way to subject people to the mob. After all what has he really done, but suck up to Alex, play with his hair, and hide a couple of bottles of wine!

The only time anyone deserves to be booed is if they continually break the rules in an effort to win. As no one has so far been thrown out for rule breaking we must assume that the tactics used by Adele were within the rules of the game and therefore fair, as are the tactics being used by Tim. |

I don't believe anyone should get booed for breaking the rules of the BB game.
It's only a game, and they're not laws, only BB rules. If I was in the house and came out with racist, sexist, homophobic comments, or upset someone quite badly ,then I'd have to hold my hands up and try to accept it. I'm not saying it's either right or wrong for the crowds to boo, but it's the consequence you have to pay if the public think you've done wrong. Whether it's right or wrong to boo is irrelevant, because people are fickle, and I don't think you can stop them doing it, unless BB resort to staging the eviction night, and selecting who the crowd are to be. |

Errrr......a bit like when C4 shrinks tell them to change their behaviour? That is the biggest fraud of the whole series. BB is supposed to be the impassionate master, but seems to get pally with certain HMs. As a pure psyche experiment the Brett consultations, the leading questions from BB in the diary room and, yes, the shouts from outside completely screw the game. But Get Tim Out followed Get Jade out and Get Adele out. For both of the former I think it influenced the nominations At least half the fun (of Adele) was watching the evil witch spread her poison and watching the HMs fall one by one - innocent lambs to the slaughter. I was shouting at the screen at times. In the end she went by accident, the HMs deserved to be stitched up by her for being so gullible. I hope if there is a BB4 they do a bit better at maintaining the isolation. Alice |

I don't like to hear the chanting, because I feel it can affect nominations the following week if other HM's hear what's been said. Plus, it obviously has an adverse affect on the HM involved, as we saw with Jade when it happened to her, and it was only the chat with the shrink that effectively has changed her behaviour since then. Now, we are seeing it with Tim. Since hearing the chants last night, it's made him more paranoid and, and he's been moping around all day because of it. Turning him even more into the person that people don't like about him in the first place. Which is all very sad.
The difference with the previous location, was the fact that there was a bridge crossing a river to separate the house from the public, making them further away, so that chanting couldn't be heard, or easier to cover up. This house, the crowd are right outside the door, and it makes it very hard to cover them up, even if they did pump music in. |

Maybe...
he has done the "talk to the other housemates about it" phase
but he hasn't talked to mr myagy (or whatever his name is) yet Tim's concerns seem to be: (1) A dark secret has been exposed in the papers (2) He won't get cheered The producers will not want him to walk so I expect he will be told: (1) There has not been (2) We will do a nice edit job on you in the last week and will vet the crowd (like we did for PJ) so you will be cheered and not booed (like adele) |
