24 Hour Drinking On Soaps?
Come on! The 24 hour drinking has been introduced, so will it be included in the soaps? What I mean is, will Shelley call last orders in the Rovers or will we see the regulars still in the pub during the night? Will the Vic be 24 hours? Will the Woolie decide to follow the trend? I think it'd be great if it got mentioned that the pubs would be open 24 hours.

In the 80s Den & Angie tried it in The Vic, but no-one actually came in.

I doubt it will make much difference considering we never seem to know the time in soaps anyway. It may get the odd mention, but chances are it won't be on screen for a month or two (when the episodes are filmed after the rules were created).

Yeah Drifter's right. It's a shame but it's virtually impossible to keep up with news/events or make references to them as such in soaps because they are filmed so far in advance.
