Here are two ideas which would liven things up a little, inject some unpredictabilty into the proceding (it needs it!).
1. BB annouces that the winner will now receive £250,000, 2nd £100,000 and 3rd £70,000 (dont anyone say they cant afford it)
The sudden element of pure greed will surely change the predictable patterns of behaviour that invariably will happen at this stage of the show. HMs who thought they couldnt win now have something to play for and winning is now worthwhile (never thought £70,000 was enough to start with - promotes wannabee famous rather than wannabee rich)
2. The loser of a task is one chosen by the HMs goes into the secret garden room for 1 days solitary confinement. Fed by other housemates and not allowed to talk to them the imprisoned HM is secretly allowed to watch and listen to the E4 coverage (and the envitable bitching in their absence).
Upon release the HM names the 2 up for nomination (presumably based on what they've seen and heard.
