PAYG 3G handsets
I'm looking to buy a new handset within the next week. Although I probably won't use the 3G services very often, I was looking at getting one of the Orange 3G phones. In particular the Sanyo S750i.
For the price it seems well featured. On the other hand the Vodafone stop the clock deal seems good too, but 3G handsets seem limited. The Motorola seems good, but I haven't seen one in the flesh. Anyone got any suggestions? I'll consider most networks with the exception of T-mobile and 3. Experiences of the S750i or Motorola V980 would also be appreciated... |

The Sanyo S750i is an improved version of the original buggy s750. I think it runs a cut down version of Windows Mobile 2003SE.
The Orange SPV C700 aka HTC Blizzard is to be released in April 2006 will support 3G and runs Windows Mobile 2005. |

Thats intresting, do you have one, beacuse I can't find any images of the user interface anywhere on the net. is it animated? If this is the new and improved s750 have there been any reports of bugs on the "i" model? I've got my PAC Number and i'm ready to roll this weekend!

There is a good forum dedicated to the Sanyo S750 and S750i:

http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/forumdisplay.php?f=362 For instance I find the software on Motorolas quite slow and clunky, and the nokia software quite predictable and easy to use. Sony software seems quite graphical, not too intuative like nokias. What is the Sanyo like? The Orange Shops are useless. nothing on display or to look at. I've actually read some really bad reviews for the Motorola on Vodafone. Gone right off that idea. |
