OMG! Juley is growing on me. I never thought i'd say this but i'm actually starting to slightly like him. Anyone else feel the same? I hope they dont axe him because we hate him because i for one dont hate him no more.

Yeah, i actually agree! They have done an character overhaul and made him less like "all da boys from da hood" look and showing a more better side of him with the ruby storyline!! it has actually made ruby a less wooden character too...without having stacey at her beck and call all the time!!

Yeah I agree, now he is not such a rude boy he is quite a nice bloke. I think him and Ruby are sweet. Ahh bless them.

Juley's quite sweet now that he's grown up out of the whole 'in da hood, innit, sexshwual, jealeoous, yeeaaaahh' thing.

Older than 30 surely. He's lost all his hair

He's growing on me too. I think that with the right storylines he could become quite popular.

He's actually growing on me! I can't believe it either, I used to absolutely loathe him but this storyline has just brought this whole other side to him, I can't believe it.

It's kind of funny how Juley first appeared on Albert Square in 2002 and only now people are beginning to like him!! I know some characters are slow burners but this is ridiculous!!

It's amazing what a new script and a new voice can do.

I always did like Juley a bit I think the writers want to show theres another side of him we haven't seen yet.

I've always found Juley a little entertaining but his character has definately improved since he arrived back in the square.

I know some people dislike he's current storyline with Ruby but people have to remember that these relationships are common (i.e. with the age gap) when i was in Year 11, 16 years old, there were several "popular" girls dating men in their mid 20s, one was 29 i was shocked to hear at first but it happens. I think people should give their relationship a chance before judging (like Johnny).

The storyline may surprise people.

He is much better when he is not with the very annoying Gus, who is the most pointless and annoying character ever. Now Juley gets to interact with others and the character has changed he is more likeable

See some agree with me. Those who still havent warmed slightly to Juley. Sound very stuborn and its as if they dont want him to grow on them.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

EE want to get rid so they show him selling drugs to make him unpopular. (What next? Child porn found on Johnny Allen's computer ffs? )

EE want him back so they get rid of the bling bling act and turn him into a gentleman and pitch him against a Very Bad Man ((c) me) who just happens to be the father of his ladylove.

Creative writing? They've heard of it.

As certain groups of viewers are quite easily (for some reson or the other ) manipulated to change their mind about a character it's an almost embarrassingly easy way for the writers/producer to have a character transplant and by that make the viewers feel completely differently about a character. I guess some of the cast are more 'cheap' when it comes to wages and more likely to stick around for a while but it's not good for the show and it's consistency IMO. The number of viewers that will accept and just change their mind and find anything a believable 'developement' in character is probably big enough for it to work (if looking to different demographic of viewers). It's almost (unfortunately) done on a regular basis these days when they go for storylinebased changes in characters.

If I had Juley growing on me I'd have him surgically removed straight away
