Great post, Lena. Covers pretty much everything I meant.

I'm fed-up of characters changing simply to accomodate a plot - they've ruined Johnny Allen's character to do this and it's so annoying. (Those scenes with Johnny crying in the square when Ruby left home were a major embarassment and made me cringe.)
