His mum got in the info about his GF quickly, I wonder if she couldn't bring herself to tell him shes left him? Possible I suppose.

Jade did want to take it at first.

Has it actually been comfirmed that his GF dumped him? It could just be press speculation. Either that or his parents do not want him to walk.

I'd be very interested to see if his opinion of Jonny now changes for the better......

I thought that was a pretty good task! Quite enjoyable to watch, disappointed Tim wasn't told his girlfriend has finished with him though, or maybe she hasn't really? Maybe that was just rumours?

The first day we heard that Tim had been dumped it was from a uni 'friend' who said that Tim's GF had told him to tell Tim when he got out that he was dumped. This was the friend that also said that Tim had bet him £50 that he would pull Kate.
The next day Tim's GF told the media she hadn't dumped him.
Who knows if it was planned this way or not?

The best thing in that task was the telephone they used

Hufff

The press would never lie, would they?

I thought we believed everything in the papers (or is that just selective according to which HM is mentioned).

Actually, It was a sh*t position for Tim's mum to be put in if he has been dumped. What would she have said? The truth?
Arrgh ... to have to watch his reaction on live telly.

Poor old Jonny: he so wanted Tim to refuse.
All the others would have let him have the call (grief he has been whining about his poor mam for weeks ... unless that really was a "don't nominate me" tactic ;o)

I actually think the other HMs were genuinely behind Tim ... I suspect he has taken the chants on Friday badly. Unlike us they will have a much better feeling as to what his true reaction is: there is only so much you can get via the TV (and even less when C4 choose to sway you).

Good task: looks like the producers thought the rules through better this time

Well, I can't see any tactical advantage in either the "he has been dumped" or the later retraction.

The bet? That always did sound a bit of a tall story.

But it must be true: it has been the basis of so many anti-Tim the rat feelings here it's too late to stop believing it now, surely?

Sounds the sort of thing (jolly jape) one of Tim's dippy friends would find funny though!!!!

Tim came across really well during that. Hopefully all his haters will realise he is as human as the rest of us. And the reason he didn't give much reaction to his dad's broken shoulder was probably because he only had 40 seconds and he wanted to cover as much ground as possible.

I actually found TIMM quite endearing during that... I can't believe I am saying this but he did seem very genuine.

I just hope the press was wrong about his girlfriend!!!

or he was emotional while speaking to a loved on he hadn't seen for a while after hearing a blood thirsty crowd shouting "get tim out" the previous night. Tim has emotions even if you don't.

Well as the HM's were quite united in their belief that Tim should take the call as they felt sorry for him, will they feel so sorry next week that they don't nominate him? Thus blowing away our chance to evict him!

I'm really sorry to disagree but don't you think it's interesting the way we both obviously watched the same show but I have a completly different view as to what happened. Fascinating
