JM what is your view?

The text on my interactive is saying that "Alex threw a strop because he didn't get anything right" and tried to leave the diary room before it was opened!

BUT it was obvious from the beginning of the tast that Alex had complete disdain for it and it has been like that for the last couple of days, he is seeming to hate it.
Doesn't he realise that he is jeapardising (spelling?) his chances by appearing so uncooperative?

Yes, maybe because most of the facts are conjecture anyway.

We have watched the same show have we not.
Jonny has gone on week after week about his mam and Newcastle? Is that not a fact?

Did he want to take the call?
Heck, who knows. Jonny fans will be convinced he was being altruistic: everyone else will wonder. Ultimately only Jonny knows: only jonny can know. Either way, it was good for Jonny's public profile. Alec just dropped a few points (migraine or no).

How predictable. It doesn't take much eh?

Just to clarify - it was a joke referring to your previous post. I do think Tim's tears were genuine and I dont think he did anything to worsen the publics opinion of him during the show. However I still want him out next.

Tim is a dippy prat.

that said, those tears were real. No way were they "actor's tears". To take pleasure in humiliating someone further once they are down ... how sick is that.

Brilliant come-back from Jonny when Tim tried to convince him to take the call (and we all know Tim's motives there, don't we?)

Jonny's 'I saw my family and I know they're OK, you were left wondering so you deserve to have the call' reply.
Game set and match - to...........JONNY!

ROFLMAO!

True enough, it's not very nice!

Pity Tim, doesn't have your sympathetic nature though, didn't he do exactly the same to Sophie?

My view FWIW

I thought Jonny thought about it and decided that Tim would benefit most from the phone call because he would be able to have an answer about whether his girlfiend was ok as he knew he'd been very concerned about it last week.

Also I think Jonny thought it was only fair for Tim to get the call because he (Jonny) had a lot of answers last week as he'd seen his family on the screen but Tim hadn't seen his properly.

So as far as I can tell at the mo' it looks to me as if Jonny has made a selfless decision and put someone else before himself. He's made it known to Tim that he'd now like him to "lighten up a bit man" and join in a bit more and have some fun. Actually I think Jonny is under the mistaken impression that Tim is only miserable because he was worried about his girlfiend (which we all know isn't true!)

Just to point out I'm not an out & out Jonny fan BTW, but no I don't like Tim

Aw, c'mon you guys! Tim says he loves his Momma, and crys, and all of a sudden this nasty little selfish worm becomes a national hero? Methinks not! He just needs to be grateful he has a nice Mother, but a nice son? Hmmmmmmm.... pouting, egotistical, opinionated, bullying, aggressive... well, at least his Mum loves him thank goodness. But I'm not fooled as to his ultimate worth - he is the sort of scum bag I'd like to see booed very loudly off the show. Call me nasty!

I also agree JM, well put! And very diplomatic, considering you don't like Jonny. (I am an out & out Jonny fan.)

Yes, the ubiquitous British Telecom Viscount, introduced in 1984. Type 9521R (pulse dialling) or 9601AR (MFT). Very solid piece of kit.

Could that be because Tim declared the ulterior motive himself?
He made it a bit easy for us to work it out didn't he. Ruining all the argument and speculation about whether he had an ulterior motive or not.

Or maybe that was his ulterior ulterior motive: a double bluff to throw us off. That man is so evil.. he tortures small animals and steals sweets from small children ...

argh, I have been in the sun too long.

Alice

PS: has Jonny ever confessed to the group why he keeps going on about his mam having to come down from Newcastle ;o)

No I do 'like' Jonny! But not to win, I like Alex too (but my gosh- he's really been taking whinge-in pills again) but again not to win, I don't even mind Jade so much now, BUT I'd love Kate to win she has been consistant to me.... just my thoughts

I agree... and am glad that jonny did the right thing... I still dont like him... BTW it's not just jonny who did the right thing, kate said there is nothing she would love more than talk to her family but she also put others before her, same with Jade. Alex admitted not being that bothered... I personnally couldnt have cared less either... Tim (or poss Jade) were the 2 that needed talking to their family most because of the chanting.

But yeah good on Jonny...

As an Alex fan I am willing to give Johnny the benefit of the doubt about why he felt Tim should get the call. Possibly he had nominations in mind when he suggested Tim get the call - wanting to get Tim on his side and not Alexs. I don't think Johnny need worry though Tim will nominate whoever it benefits Tim to nominate (friend or foe).

It was nice to see Tim appear a bit more human and enjoy his phone call, although I still believe he is the worst HM. But as I think his Mum was lying to him (or stalling) about his girlfriend I must admit to feeling a bit sick that he is now feeling better about things when the truth is he has probably been dumped. Still he knew his girlfriend didn't want him to go in the house before he went. So why did he go in, he doesn't seem to be enjoying himself?

I don't see why anyone should have a go at Alex - he said he didn't want the call and then tried not to influence Tim. Whats wrong with that?

Well done Tim. he handled that really well and will have came up in the estimation of many people.

Why is it that when a guy shows emotions that he is a faker, but when a female, Jade for example, does it everyone feels sorry for her and wants her to win?

I reckon that may just save Tim from being nominated this week.

That will then mean that Jade will be up against a strong HM which means Jade will be out. Heaven......

So Jonny wanted dim Tim to take the call because he felt he deserved and needed it. Rubbish !
Jonny was, as many times before, playing to the audience sitting at home. Jonny was sat there thinking how high the viewing figures would be at prime time on Channel 4 and how good he would look appearing to be such a selfless gentleman in front of millions viewers. For the true Jonny we need to watch plenty of E4 coverage.
Oh, and by the way, if by making such a sacrifice Jonny gets dim Tim not to nominate him this week all the better for the manipulative one !
