Thank god for that, Nigel Harman may be eye candy, but his acting skills leave alot to be desired.

Ok, we all know its Dennis who meets his maker on New Years Eve, but the real question should be... how does it happen??

I'm surprised he was allowed to make such a comment on the show - especially since the producers are trying to keep it a secret (albeit a crap secret.)

If it's true that Johnny kills again I wouldn't be surprised as when he killed Andy I thought then Johnny will kill again

Regarding HOW dennis buys the farm, I'm picturing (but could be wrong) Phil deciding to fight fire with fire and use Dennis to get at Johnny Allen by exploiting young rickmans dislike towards Johnny. I think Phil (still angry at dennis, secretly seething from being set up and for being with Sharon) will discover that Johnny sent Andy Hunter to his doom and will happily share this information with Dennis, leading to Dennis seeing red and confronting johnny. however, johnny won't be alone, with his hired lackey Sean (who attacked Peggy) hiding in the shadows, dennis will find himself outnumbered and in severe danger. Who knows if Phil expects it to go that far, or if he had hoped that dennis would see off johnny , and take the rap, once and for all. I've read somewhere that a shotgun is involved but not from any official sources.

I think his leaving storyline will reflect the characters personaility flaws, as we'll see his demise as a result of his violent temper. Everything Dennis has done could lead up to his death. Ie: make an enemy of phil, try to protect sharon and initially think with his fists and fly off the handle. the character could walk away from it all, avoid trouble and live happily with sharon but a switch goes off in his head ands he's unable to avoid confrontation.

of course all this could be wrong i'll be hiding into my beer new years eve!

Just like his dad! I thought they were enimies after Den left Phil in the warehouse on the robbery? It would have to be a very big swallow of pride if they were to pair up

I don't buy the new bond between phil and dennis. It says on one spoiler for next week that when i first read that i thought eastenders knack of giving characters convenient amnesia had struck again, but I reckon phil is just keeping up appearances for sharon. There was one shot a few weeks back of phil stood near a tree spying on sharon as if he still had feelings. surely you'll have resentment towards the person who was with the object of your affections and who also set you up, slept with your estranged wife and helped your ex steal your child. phils a cool customer if he can forgive and forget all that.

Im glad he's going I find the Dennis character amazingly overrated + its sooo true that Nigels as wooden as Pinnochio and was blatently hired for his looks.
